The 1911 Campaign Series features a traditional-contoured, stainless steel slide and frame, featuring a custom distressed finish. Low-profile, 3-dot, combat sights are dovetailed to the slide. The skeletonized hammer recesses into the beavertail-grip safety to protect it when carrying the weapon cocked with the thumb safety on, and to avoid hammer-bite while firing. A pronounced memory bump on the grip safety enhances consistent hold for greater accuracy. Checkered front strap and mainspring housing and textured G10 grip panels provide a solid, nonslip hold.
