So are you suggesting your plastic is better than Magpul's? And if I buy yours and melt them what kind of warranty do I get?

Like most people here, I'm not interested in accessories for airsoft; please don't post links to them or suggest them. There's a reason people spend $100 or more for accessories like flashlights, rails, rings, etc. despite the fact the airsoft versions are 10 bucks.

As everyone has already pointed out, the PTS really are junk and should not be used on any gun -- even a .22 rimfire.

I bought a set for my M&P 15-22 just because I wanted a set of flip-ups to augment my Lucid HD7 sight. I figured I could save some money, since it was a .22, and go with the PTS, figuring "plastic is plastic."

I was wrong. These PTS sights are pure, flat-out junk. I have a couple of genuine Gen 2 MBUS on some of my AR's, and the quality difference is staggering. I don't even believe these PTS are worth $20 -- they suck that bad.

The PTS line you posted is made for toys and simulation. It's not even the same grade of polymer as the rest of the Magpul equip- If you mount them (PTS grade) directly to a railed gas block it will melt quickly. Maybe for a rimfire plinker' if you were to mount it to an aluminum rail that doesn't dissipate heat. Even then, I would buy the real MBUSes like the one posted in the OPs deal.
