I bought a couple boxes once and found them inconsistent. About every 10th one went supersonic. Also, they are are only 38 grain vs. 40+. Usually you want the weight to increase as you drop the velocity below subsonic. This retains some of the lost energy. Go with CCI "standard velocity" for better value. They are subsonic as well
Very reliable in a suppressed Sig Mosquito and an M&P 15-22. It fully cycled the action and extracted correctly each time.
my favorite current production 22lr subsonics! suppresses VERY well, accurate as hell, will function in all of my semi auto pistols (wont function 10/22) and kills gods small creatures well. I've killed more foxes at 40yards then I can remember with rem subsonics even kilt a couple of coyotes (head shots) with them
these don't seem to be plagued with the notorious rem rimfire FTF
i'll take these over the eley any day!
Sure it is .07 a round. Then add in 19.79 shipping. I see they are still more than doubling their shipping costs to offset the cheaper price. They can keep it.
Hint- Add an item that has free shipping and the shipping costs will be reduced. I paid $11 bucks shipping on a $190 order that included the subsonic 22, a barrel, and some other ammo. When I added an $8 free shipping item, the shipping costs decreased by more than $8.
Dont buy so they understand that thier shipping sucks and so so their prices.
I will never EVER buy from MidwayUSA because of their shipping prices. Sick. Way to bait people, douches.
It will be sold out in a hour. I can sell this stuff for 80-90 all day profit is profit
wouldn't be too bad if you were able to order at least 2 boxes; 1000 rds at that shipping price would bring price per round down abit.
crazy theyre charging $20 to ship, thats what I paid to have my 500 .40 shipped. Was like .37 shipped but this is a bit much.
Limit 1 box of 500... $17 shipping for me put the price above $.10 per round. A little high for me for subsonic unplated ammo.
Probably worth it if you can find some other stuff to add to the order to dilute the shipping charges.
shipping is a bit obscene for only one box but if you have other things you are looking to pick up could help make it worthwhile.
They are 2 hours away and want $20 to ship one brick of 22........no way!
they are as bad as nachezz with their shipping.
I found some .312 hollow point bullets I can use so I added them to the 22LR order and the shipping was still the same. That made it a bit less painful.
Even bullets, primers and cases are getting impossible to find since DHS is overwhelming producers and banning importation of foreign ammunition. Face it guys they don't want us to get ammo and things are only going to get worse unless people speak up which is very unlikely to ever happen. I call congress many times every week to complain. Dial *67 first and don't give your name/address when they ask for it. They only ask if you accuse them of crimes or bash our true enemy Israel.
I know .22 ammo is hard to find but $48.50 for 500rds is a bit much, unless you really need it. I used to shoot a lot of Rem 22 but this summer I ran a brick through my Ruger 22/45 and it leaded up the barrel in ways you couldn't imagine. It literally took me hours to get it clean!
I just cancelled my order. one box and $15 shipping. NOT!
The shipping, on $34 small item, is $18.99.
That's what I call a big, fat PASS!
On another note, I received my 500 rounds of Winchester .45 ACP this morning via UPS from Midway that I ordered YESTERDAY!
Ironically, paid the same for shipping a bazillion pounds of .45 as they want for this lame .22 ammo.
$15 To ship come on now 33.00 isnt great to begin with but i need some for the kids
I'm glad I had the foresight to buy a 550 rd Federal bulk pack every week for $12.50 at Wal-Mart over the years..... Still shooting stuff I bought 5 years ago.....lol I did snag up 4 of the 1400 round Remington Golden Bullet buckets for $70 each with like $30 shipping. Comes out to be under 6 cents a round. You guys are paying ridiculous prices, $33 for a 50 round box, I don't know who messed up their math but that's 66 cents a round, not $0.066....
your confused...its $33 for 500 round box. The price is not terrible for subsonic ammo in fact it's right on however with the $15 shipping and limit of one box your right it is not a deal. I love how you say "you guys" like you are the only person in the world who had foresight to buy plenty of ammo before all this.
It's 10 50rd boxes, not 1... 500 rds.
And another $15.99 for shipping....no thanks!
This store was cash grabbing and price gouging more than anyone I saw after the Sandyhook shooting, and, in my opinion, was one of the largest contributors to the “ammo craze” that followed. They always showed large inventory and were charging unbelievable prices. Neck and neck with CTD.
I’ll never spend a dime with them.
