Military Surplus – Czech – 7.62X25 – 85 Grain – FMJ Ammo - The history of this ammunition goes all the way back to WWI, where it began its entry into the firearms market. Massive amounts of this ammunition were made, widely used and exported by the Soviets, primarily for use in their pistols / sidearms, although variants were made for other purposes.
Muzzle velocities of this caliber ranges from 1,300 – 1,800 fps, with the average velocity coming-in at right around 1,450 fps. There are many firearms for which this caliber is well-suited, most common among those, is the Tokarev TT-33 pistol.
