Use this app to configure your .223/5.56 Complete Upper exactly how you want it. We’ve pre-populated the app with some sensible defaults. To use it, just click on each step below and make your selection. When you’re all done you can hit the “Add to Cart” button at the bottom of the form.
Pro-tip: If you want to leave the page for some reason, be sure to save your configuration by clicking the “Add to Cart” button at the bottom of the form. Once the configuration is in your cart, you can edit and update at your leisure. If you leave the page without adding to cart, then whatever progress you’ve made will be lost.

A lot of the items they don't let you skip over, and they don't have a good variety of selections either. Then at the end they force you to pay $25 to have them assemble this for you. This might be good for someone who doesn't know anything about building ARs, but useless for others who actually want to customize. Don't get me wrong, these guys have some decent prices on parts, but to make a customization package, this lacks plenty to be desired.
Don't force people to get certain section of the upper, and don't force people to pay you to assemble. Sell it as a parts kit and offer options to skip parts & assembling, you will go way farther than this.
Thank you for the feedback! We took some time and added quite a few new products to add more variety to the configurator. I will also let ownership know about allowing certain parts to be skipped (and we do allow some, such as the BCG and the charging handle). Thanks for accepting feedback. I am looking for 2 uppers at the moment and actually played with your customization tool for a bit, couldn't get myself to do it because of the stated reasons. I didn't mean to be harsh if I came off that way.
If you can make everything ala cart (including assembling service), I believe the convenience of step-by-step build a kit feature alone is going to win you business!
