The Ruger American Standard Rimfire Bolt-Action Rifle combines the rugged reliability of Ruger's past craftsmanship with the groundbreaking innovative creations of Ruger's present. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user-adjustable between 3-5 lbs. Cold-hammer-forged barrel with ultraprecise 1:16 rate-of-twist rifling ensures exceptional accuracy, longevity and ease of cleaning. A 60°-throw bolt ensures ample scope clearance and has an easy-to-use, receiver-mounted bolt release for easy removal without requiring a pull of the trigger, a unique safety feature among rimfire, bolt-action rifles. The integral bedding-block system known as Power Bedding™ positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for on-target accuracy. Includes 10/22® BX-1 10-round rotary magazine and accepts all 10/22 magazines. Easy-to-use 10/22-style extended magazine release promotes smooth, effortless removal of the flush-mounted, reliable-feeding magazine. A 3/8'' rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver® #12 bases (not included). Easy-to-actuate tang safety provides instant security. Ergonomic, lightweight black synthetic stock blends classic aesthetics with modern forend contouring and grip serrations. Two interchangeable standard length-of-pull stock modules add comb height.
