Good info. How does this compare to ppx?

PPX is a brick, a budget gun that is nowhere near as nice as the PPQ.

Best stock trigger, but $529 is not much of a deal.

So I'm curious why people are saying this is the best polymer pistol? This is an honest question btw. With Sigs, M&P's, Glocks, CZ's, H&K, etc. and other reputable well made firearms, how can this really be the "best" polymer pistol?Isn't there other polymer pistols with short, crisp, light trigger pull and great ergonomics out there that are just as good?

IMO, there's only one other that's in the same class as the PPQ right now, and I consider it to be dang near a coin flip between the two. That other is of course the VP9. As to which of these 2 are the best is pretty much a coin flip from shooter to shooter. Personally I prefer my VP9 over my PPQ, but only by a whisker.

As to the others in this class (i.e. Sig, M&P, Glock, etc.) they are fine pistols in their own right, and I would trust my life to many of them as well. But when comparing the pros and cons of each (handling, pointing, shootability, ergonomics, reliability, sights, triggers, etc.) it's neigh impossible (at the moment) to find another pistol in this class that offers everything that the VP9 and PPQ bring to the table.

Of course others may argue that the M&P is better, or the Sig is better, or... However, I would be willing to bet that many of these proponents have not had the chance to try their favorite(s) head to head with the VP9 and PPQ.

My advice to anyone looking for "the best" would be to simply find a local range that rents guns (or friends that may already own one or more pistols in this class) and do a head to head comparison themselves. Regardless of what anyone else says, the best choice is always the one that works the best for you.

PPQ M2 is the best gun I own. And I own VP9, G26/19/17, P320, M&P w/ Apex.

The only place it's lacking is in aftermarket support that's not even a quarter of the support available to my other pistols.

Just as the VP9 was coming out, I was able to snag two more PPQ's on the cheap because people were ditching the to get the HK. They are basically the same gun except the PPQ has a better trigger.

Um, no sir. If you look close, there are actually several differences between the two.

Best polymer pistol I own in terms of accuracy, nice trigger, etc. -- and as a side benefit I have a standard sized M&P pistol in 9mm and I've found amazing compatibility with holsters between the PPQ and M&P. Can't go wrong with a PPQ

As others have said, this is honestly one of, if not the best striker fired polymer pistol ive ever shot, possibly the best poly pistol period ive ever shot.

Nicest polymer pistol I've ever fired. I own Sigs and H&K's, this one I don't ever see parting with.
