  • I think the Sig Romeo 5 is the best red dot on the market for $150 or less. It comes with every feature you could want and is tanky enough to take a beating and continue functioning. 50,000 hour maximum battery life, motac, clear glass, 2 moa dot, and standard mount compatibility with just about every aftermarket red dot mount on the market. I have put this on several different rifles, everything from shorty ARs in 5.56 and 7.62x39 to AR10s and it has held up excellently with no shift in zero even after dropping it twice from shoulder height. Most of the time that I have been running it I have put it on a UTG .500" 13-slot riser and it pairs very well making close range and out to 300 yards fast and intuitive. It has some competition from Vortex and Holosun but I think this one is the best overall dot for the money.

Same price as amazon depending on where you live but amazon gives you 1 day shipping in return for the price offered! waiting on a price drop again but so far it is at $109 free shipping in a day... the clear winner is obvious https://www.amazon.com/Sig-Sauer-SOR50000-Romeo5-Compact/dp/B07T9GK7SR/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=sig+romeo&qid=1571074575&sr=8-3...

This vendors shipping price and ship time is ridiculous. Best prices online along with worst shipping rates, that’s something to brag about.

Unfortunately the shipping cost brings this up high enough to make me lose interest. Still not horrible but not low enough to get me to purchase.

My experience was entirely different. I ordered a firearm on a sunday (9/8) and was already in my FFL on the Tuesday(9/10).
    Maybe a fluke?

Nice price ($89.99), but terrible customer service based on previous comments. In this day and age, it isn't wise to burn your customers. Communicating their experience is too easy, and I for one am glad they shared it, but sorry they had to go through it. Take care of your customers ASAP; don't try to explain it away weeks later.

my situation is kinda like romen and the other troll, hahah...made order. waited 9 days to email, they say 3-10 before they finally start trying to fulfill order. then on the 10th day they didnt have an item that i ordered in stock. (thats costly no? folks stealing, losing, or sending too many??). they emailed me and asked what they wanted me to do. i then called, asked to cancel, they wanted to charge me 15% cancellation fee. at first i was gonna demand they pay me 10% interest for holding my money for 12 days. but apparently they have thought of that angle. so, i say fine, just send me what you have in stock. 2 days later finally get tracking. now i havea deliver date of tuesday, sep 3. ordered sunday 18th. 16 days later. good thing it wasnt anything i really NEEDED.

i too, like others didnt read online reviews. eventually they will figure it out and maybe be a good co to deal with....until then....

also, this was after trying to check out on their mobile site 4 times... my fault sure, but still annoying. check out as guest, make error, it clears the form. BAAAH!

Just ordered one. Shipping is $14.99 not $9.99 like this site said. When I went to add an ETS mag loader to my cart, shipping shot up to $29.98! Wow!!!

Romen, would you be interested in emailing us at info@lockedloaded,com and address the email to director of eCommerce. I am not sure what happened or why you are upset with my company. but I would like to talk to you about it. Maybe I cant change your opinion of us, I understand that. However, maybe there is some miscommunication from my newer team members or I can make some changes for the future. I am always open to suggestions and areas of improvement. If we weren't we wouldn't have achieved twelve thousand packages for the year on Friday. Thanks for your time and I am sorry for any inconvenience or errors on our end.

This company advertises amazing prices, but then never delivers and may or may not charge your credit card. Pass Pass Pass shooters.

    pigman,

I am sorry you are angry or had a bad experience. I can assure you this not true and only happened one time during the Springfield 911 incident that was out of our control. Please email us at [email protected] and I will personally review your issue and we will find away yo help make it right.
If we cant deliver due to inventory you are correct will issue a complete refund on the out of stock item unless you are willing to wait. Once your new POS system goes into place we are told the inventory error will go away . We never ever intend on selling out of stock items and if you experienced this I am very sorry.

Yes, they have been gaining the wrong type of reputation online over the last month or 2. There are a lot of reviews on yelp and google from people leaving reviews similar to mine below. People should definitely be aware that their order may very well disappear and they will tell you they can do nothing about it even though you received an order confirmation with an order number. After reading other reviews it was shady enough that I did not want them to have my CC info.

People buying guns from locked and loaded have a right to know what they are getting in for. Many people have been having bad experiences with them recently.

Beware locked and loaded located in Illinois. I ordered a Springfield Alpha from them on 4/10 at a good price based on an ad I saw on gundeals. I even posted it in a deals thread on a firearms forum where I am a member. I filled out my information including my credit card info (After reading their recent feedback and based on my experience with them I cancelled my credit card, I do not want them to have that information) and ffl information. I got an email back from customer support with an order #. All seemed well.

I did not hear anything after that. My wife gave them a few calls and basically after 2 days they said that they could not find the order and that I could order the gun again at a higher price. They said it did not matter that I had the order # and confirmation, there was nothing they could do.

Over the last couple of days I did what I should of done before ordering the gun, checked reviews on them. I found a lot of recent negative reviews about the companies online service from Google Reviews and Yelp. They are easy enough to look up.

I have done business with a lot of on-line firearm companies over the years. I use gundeals regularly and have had all positive experiences until now.. Locked and loaded is the only online company bad enough that I felt it worthwhile to warn others away.

In the end I am not out any money, (although I gave them my credit card information which in light of my experience was worrisome enough to me to cancel my card), but based on my experience and the experience of others I want to give people a heads up that this is not a good company to do business with. You may very well be wasting your time if you do business with them as I tried to do.

    Internet troll,
You information isn't complexly accurate. We had a major malfunction on our website that caused 149 Springfield 911 handguns to sell at an unrealistic sale price. This happened so fast that our credit card processor started voiding transactions and returning funds before we even knew what or why this was happening. We sold this units within a few hours one late afternoon/evening. I emailed called and begged Springfield to help, we even offered to take a loss as long as every customer would get something in return. They brushed us off. I would be happy to show you one of the emails to Springfield. The rest of your post is not even slightly true, we HAVE NEVER STOLEN FROM A SINGLE CUSTOMER. We have a cancel order policy but this is all clearly laid out during check out. We also made it very clear how long our lead time is because we do not want customers upset or feel miss leaded. Regarding your credit card info, NOT ONE single bit of your personal information is available for any of my employees to review. In fact, if you cant get into your account you have to create a new one, because our website doesn't allow employees to enter it.
If you would like to email [email protected], I would be more than happy to speak with you in more detail and find away to help make the situation right. We are a small family business and have been in business since 2014. As i said in other reviews we have shipped over eleven thousand packages this year alone. We got smacked in the mouth by growing pains but we have listened and invested in technology and staff. TO BE VERY CLEAR WE HAVE NEVER STOLEN FROM A SINGLE CUSTOMER AND NEVER WILL, THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE.

Honestly I never said you stole from anyone. But after reading a bunch of reviews on both Yelp and Google there seemed to be a pattern with your company of not honoring deals. This pattern combined with me getting an original confirmation and order number in my email combined with someone at your company telling my wife that they had no record of the order sent up red flags in my mind. That despite us having the confirmation email made me very uncomfortable when I realized I inputted my credit infomation made me very wary of your company.

With all the other negative reviews I read about your company over the previous couple of days before having a similar experience I did not feel comfortable having given you my CC information which is why I cancelled it. I did not say you stole from anyone, but the way I gave up my CC information without anything in return concerned me enough to wonder what was going on. The potential of future credit card fraud was a concern and I was not going to take the chance.

I have been posting the review to give people a heads up. In the end I ordered a new credit card, was not out any money but had a bad experience. I wonder If my wife had not called would we ever have gotten anything saying that there was a problem? Would we just have been left hanging. Being told that they could not find any copy of the order after being put into review makes me think we would not have been contacted and would have been left hanging.

That with all the other negative reviews I’ve read from people with similar complaints from the last month or two shows a pattern, Honestly if there had not been so many similar reviews I probably would not have written the review figuring it was an honest mistake and shit happens. But with the other reviews plus my experience with your company it seems worth the effort to warn others that there is a very good possibility that they may have serious problems if they order from you. I have probably ordered between 75 to a 100 things based on ads from gundeals over the last 5 years from guns and ammo to accessories. This is the first time I ever dealt with a company that seemed shady in their business practices.

Btw..... the gun was back up on your website for sale at a higher price point later that day/night. It is still listed as in stock right now.

If the person my wife had talked to said “there was a glitch with the website.....” I might have thought wtf... but I would have understood and moved on. Straight up honesty goes a long way. Or better yet sending out an email saying there was a problem so that we did not have to waste time trying to call, being put in review and having to call again. But saying there was no record and that it did not matter that we had a confirmation email with an order number, on top of all the other people having similar bad experiences and some with worse experiences seems like a good thing to warn people about because the reviews suggest it’s been happening a lot.

Well I am glad you ordered a new credit card for no reason. I was trying to reach out and say that I am sorry you had a bad experience. Due to an error it kept going in stock and it was out of our control. We since fixed it and have them at a regular price. This is how you our industry works. If you want to judge us off a few reviews that is your right, Refunding you in full within hours since we didn't have the product and it was an error on our site. I wouldn't count that shady. I asked you to email me because we are trying to make it right with everyone that experienced this error. The error did happen to a lot of people, an accident happened. We are humans and computers fail. The reason we didn't sent out an email was we were working with Springfield and thought we would be able fill the order buts they backed out.

SO ANYONE OUT THERE THAT EXPERIENCED THIS ERROR PLEASE EMAIL US AT [email protected]. I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SPEAK WITH YOU AND APOLOGIZE, WE WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU ON THIS FIREARM OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. (There are no serious problems with our company! Did we grow to fast, YES! Were we under staffed and did it bite us in the ass, YES! Lockedloaded.com will continue to sell at the best prices online and do everything we can to take care of every customer.
