Designed to fit most milled and stamped variants of the of the AK family, the Gen 1 SS-Extended Universal Handguard features smooth sides and bottom which include attachment points for customizable rail sections, providing a solid platform for optics and accessories.
Includes five sling attachment points for push-button quick detach swivels, and a slim 1.7” design that is about the same as most wooden handguards, without rail sections. Constructed from MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodized 6061 aircraft aluminum, this handguard is very light at 9.1 ounces (3 rail sections add 1.6 oz).
This model features a top cover machined for use with Aimpoint T1 compatible optics, such as the Aimpoint H1, Vortex SPARC, and our own Primary Arms removable base microdots!
NOTE: Installation requires the removal of the forward sling loop on the handguard retainer.
