Description

FN FNS40 40S 14RD BLK/BLK 66940. The FNS 40 is the result of years of research incorporating the most precise engineering and product development to bring the most highly-advanced striker-fired pistol to the American law enforcement and personal defense market. The FN FNS is a true double-action pistol with a pivoting hinged trigger featuring an exceptionally crisp break and a short travel to reset. The matte black polymer frame comes with four interchangeable backstraps to customize grip fit and is designed with a low-bore axis for reduced felt recoil and enhanced control. The fully-ambidextrous controls are shaped for easy access without snagging on holsters or clothing. The contoured frame-mounted manual safety is ideally placed for positive operation by either thumb. The FNS-40 offers a hammer-forged stainless steel barrel. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and is topped with three-dot fixed combat sights with a Deep-V rear sight that allows for better visibility of the front sight for faster sight picture and target acquisition. The FN FNS also is equipped with steel frame rails that can be easily replaced.

The price is high also . PSA had them for low 300s recently. Bought 2 , both came with 3 MAGS . Solid rails decent triggers .It would be nice to have a roster for vendor comments only so we could separate that from the item remarks. By the way the worst offender to me is SG . What a BS company. OOPS

They will screw at least 5 out of 7 people. That's their nature, CHEATER Than Dirt. I honestly hope that some day they will be banned from this site Give me thumbs if you agree.

I have the Stainless version with the safety and night sights. My every day carry has a safety and I have kids in the house. Yes I practice strict gun safety at home but having that little extra layer of protection is fine with me. I practice with a safety so I wanted the consistency with this gun. With that out of the way, this is one of the best shooting pistols I have every shot, let alone in the 40. My son nor I could tell a recoil difference between my SR9C (compact 9mm) and this FNS 40. The grip and grip angle are fantastic, the gun just melts into your hand. The trigger is superb, you couldn't ask for better in a gun costing twice this amount. I sold my Glock 23 to purchase the FNS 40 and it was completely the right move. Go for the stainless, doesn't show finger prints at all and looks awesome in the two tone. I'll never part with this gun.

The trigger is crap. That is the reason I sold mine... Just saying

Perhaps you got a lemon. My trigger is lovely and certainly better than the Glock 23 it replaced.

Beware, they will screw you: just ordered 4 scorpion mags and a tapco AK mag for the heck of it. CTD canceled my scorpion mags but simultaneously have them on their site for $5 more than what I just ordered. Called to cancel the AK mag and said I can't cancel order, so i just paid $17 for one $9 magazine. Would not let me add 4 cz scorpion mags at "new higher price" to original order either. Would have to pay shipping again. Last time I give them my business.

CTD came through for me! Got if for the advertised price plus $10 "handling" fee in three business days to my FFL. Couldn't be happier! They kept me advised via email when they shipped and when it was signed for at the dealer. I saw the "better" deal at Palmetto State but they added tax and $17 shipping making it the same price as Cheaper Than Dirt. Plus, I got the one with a manual safety, which I prefer since it is low profile and can be left off. I like the option. The gun is a fine shooter (better than my S&W M&P 40SW that I sold for more than I paid for this). It's nice that it comes with three magazines since no one makes an after market mag. The factory mags run about $45 each. Cheaper Than Dirt came through for me big time!

To bad im not into .40. This is an AWSOME deal. (From what i remember this is even a better deal than when FN was offering a rebate on these).
This is one of the best deals Ive seen posted on gun.deals in a while.

Thumbs up to boksaman for posting this and mark for updating this great deal.

Deals like this reminds me of the great deals we used to find all the time on gun.deals before people started junking it up with everything but good deals..

Damn I sure wish they had this same deal for the 9mm version.
