Sorry to hear about tax and shipping. I ordered 2, plus a Romeo1 mounting plate for my P229 (on sale for $22), so they shipped my $102 order for free and no sales tax. So, mine were truly $39.99 each.
Yes, it includes the SB15 Brace, but I think the real value is in the Phase 5 Hex Tube aluminum receiver extension (buffer tube), with Mil-spec buffer, buffer spring, end plate, and castle nut.
I ordered one. Came to $54 after tax and shipping. Still a solid deal.
