They look like low brass so I suppose they won't pack the punch of high brass rounds. Still a good price and they will feed in my Winchester 1300 and probably in the Savage 320.
Smokin' deal on these mini-shells; heck, it's a great deal for any shade of slug load! I can't recall the last time I saw slugs offered for less than $0.50/ea... and the mini-shells always seem to sell at a premium due to their lower production #s... If I wasn't trapped behind the Granola Curtain & could still buy ammo online, I'd jump on this! You can get the little rubber insert for your Mossberg to feed these reliably for <$18, which is less than what a mag extension costs.
Hahaha Granola Curtain! It's a great deal for sure. Too bad my 870 won't feed properly. Makes me want a double barrel shorty like mad max lol. I could one hand that for sure and look super cool. Seriously though these in a little double would be nice for the truck. I had a single barrel rossi 12 ga but damn it kicked like a mule on acid. I'm not man enough for that beast.
500 Mossberg and a ~ $18 feed bumper [seriously, it's a little wedge of rubber] off ebay & you're golden. Just in case you wanted to switch to the dark side... X-D
So I finally grabbed some Aguila short shells a couple weeks ago. I know they aren't Challengers but they fed perfectly in my 870. Ran a whole box through it with only a single hiccup when I believe I short stroked the pump action a bit. As long as I did my part they did theirs. Only gives me one extra round but the low recoil was so nice the wife could handle the 12. Just thought I would give an update this morning when I came across this. I picked my 870 up in 2010 if that helps anyone. If you have an 870 short shells might be worth a try if you haven't.
Btw I've been to the dark side. Didn't mind it all all ; )
Mini slugs? The deer here in MN would laugh at these things. Come on if you can’t hit one in 5-6 shots just practice shooting and reloading quicker.
Mini slugs! (Scoffs)
