As a general rule, ALL magazine fed shotguns are inherently reliable. Putting shotgun shells under spring compression in a magazine deforms them to the point they won’t feed or extract properly. Meanwhile a $200 tube-fed pump gun will never fail you. The reason? The pump is a tried and true action, 200 years old, and used in every corner of the globe. Tired of these hype-tastic shotguns blanketing a site that promotes good deals and ‘value’.

Even with tube-fed semi autos, the gas action can be spotty depending on the ammo. Ideal for competition but that’s about it. The juice is not worth the squeeze IMO, but YMMV

From what I've seen as long as you use hot loads they function well

Anyone have real world hands on experience with this? I'm wondering if they, like most semi auto, AR style 12 gauge shotguns are jamming, finicky pieces of crap?
