just got my first for the latest 18" 458socom build because even tho the ebay tanker brake reduced recoil, a lot, it was just too dam loud!
looks like it'd increase your recoil with all the ports pointing forward. its basically a rocket pointing backwards.
I have purchased numerous of these “linear compensators” on eBay for $15 shipped. They work great on 7.5” 556 builds. I haven’t really noticed any increased back pressure or recoil with this linear comp compared to an A2 comp. I think it’s mostly a visual (rather than performance) difference between this and a KAK flash can. Both send more blast forward but look very different depending on length of barrel/rail.
