Now you can buy the same junk, milled AK in pistol form, yay.
My friend has a RAS and I’ve put a couple mags through it and it worked great. Fun to shoot.Had to adjust the front sight and it’s very accurate. He said he’s put 600 rounds through it with no issues.
I have an RAS47 pistol as well. I've put 1000 rds through it and not a single hiccup. I bought it at a steal price which is the only reason I have it. I had a first version PSAK-47 and it didn't last past 500 rds which is sad. Had high hopes for them. At least there customer service is tops and is sending me a new version of theirs. Not sure if I'm excited about it but only time will tell. I'd say save the money and get an Arsenal if you want a reliable/long lasting AK platform.
Hopefully they’re heat treating the receivers now. Returned one for a customer that had the locking lugs set so far back the bolt couldn’t close. If they had forced the bolt closed the next shot would have blown the rifle apart. It was like the metal was made of silly putty. Gun was shooting its first mag. For the average gun owner though that MAYBE shoots one mag a year it’ll probably hold up.
