Description

Feed lips and anti-tilt follower are reinforced for strength. A bolstered floor plate is set flush so that it will not catch on other magazines when pulled from a pouch. The Troy magazine is as sleek as it is strong. Operators will save crucial seconds when executing magazine changes.

Yesss yesss let's drive them out of business. All of them, any manufacturer or retailer that raises prices. That way only a few left to limit supply further with higher prices. That will show them.

Let's all put on our big boy pants and realize that this is a lesson in the the free market and our economy. Manufacturers and retailers are fee to charge what the market will bear. You as a consumer are free to buy or not at the price that's asked. If you didn't buy at the lower price prepanic that is your fault for also using the supply and demand side of the free market. You made a conscious choice. I want a few more mags, but hey that new iphone is realy cool. And I must be the first to have it. So you chose the new phone because those mags will be there next payday at that price. They will always be available and cheap so they can wait right. Now that they are not readily available at the price you think they should be its time to throw a fit like children, and boycott anyone that doesn't bend to your will. As far as comparing mags to gas. Same thing, they are both wants or desires. Not NEEDS. You can't eat them. They won't shelter your. And you can't drink them, well you could drink gas. Do it if you must and see where that gets you.

This is the end of me and Troy In.

I don't give a jack rat how good their products are. There's nothing in AR world that you couldn't find it better somewhere else, price or quality.

Enjoy bending over, desperates.

Why is there so much hate from this self-declared Elite-Gun-Owners-Group? It's called supply and demand. $25 for a quality magazine, esp at this time, is a perfectly reasonable price. You may have been used to paying $10-15 when demand was low, but times have changed. You must be like one of those self-entitled dbags complaining when gas prices started going up. It is what it is and $25 vs $20 or $15 is not a BFD. Take your Xanax and go back to my little pony if this is too much for you.

Are you really that ignorance to compare gasoline with rifle magazine? I'm not going to even try to educate you on why gas price is going up and down the way it is. You should learn about it before you post this, actually. For example, one is a limited supply with only handful people in the world producing. The other is unlimited, domestically produced, supply that you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one, nor we depending on it for our day to day life like we do gasoline.

Sure it is drying up and there's a chance it might be even harder and more expensive to acquire one, but that is our choice and we sure still can do something about it. But, that is if the ban is passed not raise the price upon the speculation. If your logic and Troy excuses is true, do they hike up prices on their other accessories as well? I'm sure we won't be able to get any of those either if the comprehensive version of AWB is passed.

Do you know the difference between speculation and anticipation? One is passive, and one is active, and that makes Troy( and many others) action a coward one.

Fortunately, they are some true gentle business men out there, take Brownells for example. They don't have one in stock right now, but they are slowly coming out and orders are being fulfilled everyday. The price? Still the same as it ever was BEFORE THE SPECULATION begins.

Because they are people like you supporting people like them, it is the reason we ask ourself today why this country headed where it is. I, for one, will not chalk this up, not this easily, especially not in the time like this. If you are a big player in gun business, THIS is the time you show your support, show where your feet stand, and show your true color.

In this case, I think I'm gonna go enjoy playing with your pony while watching you being screwed.

It's your choice, ENJOY IT!

Before the rush they have a set price it costs to produce a magazine. After the rush I'm sure that price changed. Extra employees, machines working overtime, electricity costs, material costs and probably 100 other things we don't know about. Are they making a couple of extra bucks? Probably. Am I going to pillory them for it as so many seem to be doing? Nope. That being said there are many out there that are genuinely price gouging. Screw them. Otherwise though I have no problem with someone making an extra 5 or 10 bucks.

Yes it is supply and demand. I demand a fair price or they can keep their supply!
Companies are entitled to gouge and call it something else. I am entitled never support them again and make it a public statement.
I'll check into Xanax, it seems to be working for you. I didn't think My Little Pony was that great, maybe it is your Xanax?

I think they justified their price increase perfectly well, and said that if the political climate changed they would reduce their price. I know that In business I don't normally expect to make up the cost of my material investment on the first part I make, nor the second, sometimes I hope to pay off a new machine over a couple years. If I had to buy new machines and tools, and hope to pay them off much sooner because I had a feeling that my business was going to be shut down by the king, I'd have to absorb that investment over a shorter period of time. Who else gets direct threats from the government that their business is the target of their witch hunt ? If that's you - you have to react accordingly. Now do some griping that might really make a difference - and write your senators and congress people and tell them to stop attacking the 2nd amendment. That the second amendment wasn't intended to allow people to hunt and shoot soda cans - but to give the people a chance to fight tyranny.

I successfully ordered 3 in FDE. They don't specifically address lead time on their website, just the huge order volumes. They do mention this right on the product page:

"****Due to impending federal legislation, Troy Industries has increased magazine pricing to absorb the expenditures outlaid on R&D, tooling and production costs. Our initial pricing strategy was based on a 7-year sales forecast which is threatened by the determinations to be made by Congress in the next few days.

We apologize to you, our valued customers for this increase. Please know that we are monitoring the issue, and hope to reduce the cost once the future of this product line has been determined.
Furthermore, due to the high increase in orders of this product, availability is extremely limited.

This product is available for retail sale only. No dealer or distributor discounts are available.****"

Yeah Sure
Because manufacturing companies always drop the price right down after R&D and tooling cost are paid off at excellerated time frames. We ll see if these are priced at $5 or what at whatever the market will bear.

Procrastinators panic...
Narcissists take advantage...
Loyal customers see the true colors and walk away to NEVER RETURN!
It's a shame.

Troy of all people? C'mon.....Retailers doing this is one thing, but manufacturers doing this is another thing all together. The cost to manufacture these have not changed. What a kick in the face to there long time customers. They should follow the example of Magpul who has not changed there price to the retailers.

(Even though the retailers themselves are choosing to gouge its not due to an increase in price from Magpul.)

It's sad that the retailers have jumped on the panic bandwagon... but, worse that the manufacturers pump their prices for no reason... NONE at all.

I'm pretty sure the Troy mags have always been around this price.

I'd have to agree but I was going to be silent on this issue. Troy after market accessories, while in general are top notch quality, also demand a top notch price and always have.

I've had them, and they are not the best quality... Better than most, but nowhere near PMAG quality.
