Absolutely ridiculous.

It's better to talk about the firearms. These are kick ass pistol caliber rifles and pistols.
I ordered four different guns from these people. Gunprime provided the best service I've ever had because these guns were confusing trying to pick out one of each. I ended up talking to the JRC factory rep and she was absolutely fabulous. I got the best customer service from both of them that I've ever had from any company. I didn't register an account because I thought I would just buy one and then I went back and bought a second one and the third one and the fourth one. I sent them an email and asked them if they could put them together on an account that I had just registered and I got back an email in 15 minutes that said "it's done". You can't beat that. I also received the Guns the next day. Who doesn't like one day shipping? When I got these guns and I was kind of excited. I've bought a lot of guns before but these are absolutely the coolest I've ever had. They are made very well and they are easily customizable and inter-changeable within the four models. For buying 4 guns I have no buyers remorse whatsoever and I highly recommend the JRC Carbines and Gunprime.

I am referring to the firearm when I said absolutely ridiculous.

1. Pistol caliber, full size ARs are absurd novelties.
2. Nickel plated, pistol caliber, full size ARs are even more absurd novelties.
3. "Marine" nickel plated, pistol caliber, full size ARs are even more absurd novelties then those previously mentioned.

Who the hell thinks using a full size AR in cramped vessel quarters is a good ide...on top of all the rest of the nonsense going on here?

Marine means land or sea. Wet or dry. Plus they sell for 10 1/2 inch barrel for in your boat, out on the ocean Which you have to be joking.

I understand what marine means as is clearly communicated in the comment you replied to.

"Who the hell thinks using a full size AR in cramped vessel quarters is a good idea."

You argument about ballistics is meaningless considering there are an innumerable amount of 556/223 ARs to choose from. It makes no sense to use a pistol caliber in a full size AR unless legal prohibitions to rifle calibers exist.

I could not care less who is offended by the appearance of a firearm and I can put most any AR in a backpack in about 10 seconds.

I stand by my original assertion that these are absurd novelties. You seem to have an emotional connection to these ridiculous things.

You have obviously never held one of these firearms. And if you're looking for power, it also comes in 10mm. Read the stats on the 10mm with a 17 inch barrel. All the pistol caliber ballistics change upward with the length of the barrel They also have the advantage of not looking "alarmIng" to the Democrats. Whole thing about pistol caliber rifles is to be able to go shooting and not go broke doing it plus they use the Glock magazine which in theory you have your Glock pistol and you have the rifle using the same magazine. You truly can buy one rifle and then get the kits to make the other two calibers for I believe $245 each. So you buy this rifle for almost half price because they're closing out the generation and then you get the kit for the 45 which consist of a barrel, bolt, eject port cover and mag well. You also could take this gun apart in about 10 seconds and put it in the backpack and throw it back in the truck. I bought four of them and I am happy. Most solid well-built guns I have bought. You also have the ability to change the charging handle and the ejection port for right or left hand. They also sell 101/2" barrels for $90 if you buy the pistol version and want to change or something like that maybe. All that being said, I almost didn't buy them because of the picture. At GunPrime, some of them didn't even have a picture and I bought the guns anyway and I almost regret it! The one that was $350 just had a thing that said "photo coming later" and I bought the damn thing and I should know better than buy a gun that has either a bad picture or no picture, stupid me.

Not to stroke martyr's ego, but as the owner of several pcc builds, I kind of have to agree. My first was a full size 9, mostly because I wasn't in to the sbr/pistol thing yet, but it's by far my least shot AR. You may be right about the ballistics of 10mm, but we're talking 9 here, and you're really not gaining much past 8-10". The only real advantage to the caliber in full size is not having to stamp it, or worry about the clown car of the atf reversing their decision on pistol braces. I've been consistently downsizing my 9's, with my next build being a 5" colt. Plus, now my friend has me on the mp5 train, so we'll see where that goes. Hell, my favorite plinker is a 5" .22. Everybody's got their reasons for buying something, and for me 9mm is about being compact.

Their main pitch, and especially to police forces, is that you inter-change these with all the Glock magazines that you have and you have increased ballistics and accuracy. Like I said before they also sell a 101/2inch barrel for it. They come interchangeably with 9mm 40 S&W 45 ACP and 10mm. If you saw their clearance early enough you also got a chance to buy the guns for less than or around half price. They’re almost cleared out of the GEN3 models and when the gen4 models come out you can sell the ones you bought for the then current price, around November, December$

Seeing as I'm more of a s&w pistol guy, interchangeable mags isn't a big deal, actually wish it was. This isn't the 10.5 barrel, nor the other calibers, so doesn't really matter either. I also highly doubt that a police force is going to issue a 16" 9mm rifle instead of .556. You need a rifle, you need a rifle round. You need compact and ultra reliable sb pcc, drop the dough for an hk. I've kept shrinking my AR's but after half a mag on a mp5 I realize there is no comparison. There comes a point where something being the cheaper option isn't favorable anymore.
