This product was created for compatibility with milspec 80% AR15 lower receivers no matter whether they are polymer or metal. The Universal Jig is designed with a super rigid long-fiber nylon composite, which will allow the customer to utilize the jig up to 3 times. This low-cost jig is the perfect alternative to the expensive and more complicated metal jigs, especially if you’re just planning on building a few AR15 lowers – why pay more?
Polymer jigs are just better than aluminum one is if your aluminum lower is finished then you will want polymer where it won't scratch the receiver ruining your finish raw anodization and aluminum don't mix it makes that silver scratch lines that are hard to come off let alone real scratches, then this polymer this jig is made out of is amazing and thick it is hard as any aluminum but it will show red when you go too far unlike aluminum that will show the same as your lower so you can cut too far also you don't have to replace.
The jig provides a stable platform for milling and therefore encompasses the entire AR15 lower receiver. Other competing jigs are more difficult to secure the lower in the vise and can damage the lower receiver while milling.

US Tactical 80% Lower Receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum for a superior custom build. Precision-milled from the high quality forgings of Anchor Harvey.
80% receiver ships in the white, and requires completion by the user.
Operations left to be completed include fire control/trigger group milling, trigger pin, hammer pin, trigger slot, and the safety selector hole.
This is not an FFL item and requires machining to complete.
