Kel-Tec PMR-30 4.3" 22 Magnum 30Rd - Blued/Black
The PMR-30 is a light weight, full size pistol chambered for the flat-shooting .22Magnum cartridge (.22WMR). The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This operation system allows for the use of a wide variety of ammunition as it seamlessly adjusts between locked breech and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge. It uses a double stack magazine of a new design that holds 30 rounds and fits completely in the grip of the pistol. The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game.
Slide and barrel are 4140 steel, frame is 7075 aluminum. Grip, slide cover, trigger, mag release, and safety levers are glass reinforced Nylon (Zytel), much like other Kel-Tec Pistols. Magazine is Also Zytel and holds 30 rounds, with round count ports. Other features include: dual opposing extractors for reliability, heel magazine release to aid in magazine retention, dovetailed aluminum front sight, Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel, Urethane recoil buffer, captive coaxial recoil springs. PMR30 disassembles for cleaning by removal of a single pin.

Can’t put it in the cart to even purchase this. Says loading and the cart never updates.
I've had mine for a few months and only had an issue with Winchester lead tip rounds. As long as you load the mags correctly and use the recommended ammo it's a fun range gun.
What is the recommended ammo? Maximags?
I was going to pick one up until I saw how bad the reviews are on them.
I know it's Kel-Tec, but I mean... It's kinda neat. 31 rounds doesn't hurt either lol
ikr. Most mid to high range manufacturers I'd jump, but they leave the weird shit up to the fringes. See a used one might buy it, probably going to end up on forgotten arms.
I am upset that it appears Kel-Tec is purposely limiting their production of this gun to keep the demand or price artificially high. I would love to have one, but at these prices I will wait it out. Let all these dealers who have jacked the price to WAY ABOVE THE MSRP eat their inventory of them. Do not do business with these gougers and eventually the market will fix itself.
...and let me add that I contacted Kel-Tec about acquiring one of these and asked if either my dealer or myself could get on a list, even if I had to pre-pay and was told they were only dealing with a few large distributors.
CDNN sent an email with this gun listed for $499 last week. I thought that was high. Good god!
It appears they only have one in stock......WTF?
Gouging at $200 over MSRP but so is everybody else on these so not a deal but this is a competitive price in the market. Personally I don't do business with scumm gougers.
No where that I know of. But that doesn't make this a deal. I am not personally going to let this store profit $300 off me simply because they were a middle man in getting me a firearm. They are not providing a service worthy of earning that. This firearm is still in production, and slowly but surely there will be more available than there are people willing to overpay a dealer who has no shame. I can wait, no problem.
Keltec engineered it. Keltec purchased all the extremely expensive equipment, tooling, and contracts to manufacturer it. Keltec is who will offer all the support for any problems for as long as you own the pistol. Keltec is who offers the warranty and who will be responsible to cover repairs on it for the duration of warranty.
A store selling this firearm for 600 is making more on it than Keltec, probably twice as much. For doing almost nothing. No thanks.
If KELTEC offered me this pistol for $600 shipped, I might take them up on that. If you think the dealer deserves so much of your money for labeling and shipping a box, by all means, purchase it. Someone will.
