It would be interesting to hear from the vendor about all those other negative reviews on yelp, google, etc. I almost pulled the trigger on a CZ PCR they had listed in stock for the going rate while everyone else was out of stock. Did my due diligence and found a boat load of poor reviews. Decided it was not worth the gamble and waited until a reputable vendor had stock again.

A good Reputation in our community is gold. I hope this vendor starts owning up to those bad reviews rather than making excuse after excuse.

billycee, I am not sure if the firearm you are looking for is still in stock, a lot of our CZ products are hard to obtain and go quick.
I would really like the opportunity to chat with you. I will provide an honest answer regarding any questions about any reviews. My only complaint is happy customers never leave good reviews, its only the ones that are angry or feel we should have done something different. Cant say much, I was the same way, before I got in this industry. Anyway, if you are interested in the firearm you mentioned email me and ask for the director of eCommerce. Maybe we can get you a better price on this gun. Regardless of what some reviews might say, our entire business plan is to provide the best prices we can. In return we obtain customers for life and return business. [email protected]

Thanks for posting a reply. I really do appreciate the offer to help on the CZ PCR, however, I’ve already picked one up from another company. I am always willing to patronize a vendor with a good rep in the 2A community, so am glad to hear that you are trying hard to make things right for the folks that had a poor experience. I am willing to reach out for my next purchase and will post about my experience, both good or bad. Hopefully it will be the former. Thanks again. Bill

This is the vendor you are referencing and we have owned up to every mistake we have made. We have also made several changes to our policies and daily practices to improve. To be clear we have never taken any ones money and not delivered a product or a refund. I have said in several post on this site an others that we have grown way to fast this year and it really hurt. Our lead time got way out of control due to order volume. So we hired more staff and are looking for more now. We thought we hired a good developer, we wrong! This why people have complained about us canceling and refunding their orders.
Our system has had some major errors that caused products to over sell and sell at prices way below our cost. We do have a policy that charges customers 15% fee for canceled orders but if its our mistake or past our posted lead time we always refund in full. We do care about everyone of our customers this is why we offer the lowest prices possible everyday. I just spoke to customer named Dave to day who experienced the Springfield 911 handgun error. We got him a great deal on another gun and covered the shipping just to say sorry. I have gotten several emails from people that have seen these post and I am taking my time to go through each one and try and make it right. Internet Troll you are one of the customers that had the 911 error, i believe! I have asked you to reach out to me via email several times. I would really like to speak with you and find away to make it right and apologize over the phone. I am not trying to get rid of your bad reviews or pay you off. The honest feed back is great and very helpful! I already made one major change to our policies due to internet trolls comments and recommendations. Thanks again guys! We will keep working our asses off to build the best website and customer service on the market. If any of you ever want to give us a second shot, Please email before ordering so I can try and provide additional discounts, if possible or at least personally speak with you. Just email [email protected] and ask for the directory of eCommerce. I promise you will hear from me personally as soon as i get to your email. Thanks

Thanks for the offer, I am good. I have not been leaving negative reviews to get a deal, just give others a heads up. If you are fixing things....... great, I hope you do and things work out for you in the long run. The more successful firearm dealers there are the better it is for the consumers, firearms community and the 2nd amendment overall. If not I am sure future reviewers will post their reviews to continue warning people. I personally hate devoting energy towards negative things and am moving on.

+1. There are a lot of established upstanding shops that have been around for awhile with good to stellar reputations. To me the more gun shops that make it online the better for the community and the consumer. But with all the competition comes high expectations and it does not take much for companies to be left behind because of things that are occurring in the reviews being left for this company.

Reviews are how we know and judge companies we are going to give business/money to. Myself and others have had really bad experiences with this company lately. People have a right to know what they may be getting into especially with so many other choices out there.

Hopefully this company quickly rectifies the situations that created all the bad reviews. In a thread I started on a firearms forum I am a member of another member just posted that they ordered an optic from Lockedandloaded 3 weeks ago and have not heard a word from the company since. With all the competition out there that does not hold up in today's world. Hopefully the bad reviews quickly push them into fixing whatever is wrong before their reputation is unsalvageable.

People buying guns from locked and loaded have a right to know what they are getting in for. Many people have been having bad experiences with them recently.

In the interest of fairness and full disclosure, Lockedandloaded responded to the review under another product. My original review, their response and my response below.

Beware locked and loaded located in Illinois. I ordered a Springfield Alpha from them on 4/10 at a good price based on an ad I saw on gundeals. I even posted it in a deals thread on a firearms forum where I am a member. I filled out my information including my credit card info (After reading their recent feedback and based on my experience with them I cancelled my credit card, I do not want them to have that information) and ffl information. I got an email back from customer support with an order #. All seemed well.

I did not hear anything after that. My wife gave them a few calls and basically after 2 days they said that they could not find the order and that I could order the gun again at a higher price. They said it did not matter that I had the order # and confirmation, there was nothing they could do.

Over the last couple of days I did what I should of done before ordering the gun, checked reviews on them. I found a lot of recent negative reviews about the companies online service from Google Reviews and Yelp. They are easy enough to look up.

I have done business with a lot of on-line firearm companies over the years. I use gundeals regularly and have had all positive experiences until now.. Locked and loaded is the only online company bad enough that I felt it worthwhile to warn others away.

In the end I am not out any money, (although I gave them my credit card information which in light of my experience was worrisome enough to me to cancel my card), but based on my experience and the experience of others I want to give people a heads up that this is not a good company to do business with. You may very well be wasting your time if you do business with them as I tried to do.

Internet troll,
You information isn't complexly accurate. We had a major malfunction on our website that caused 149 Springfield 911 handguns to sell at an unrealistic sale price. This happened so fast that our credit card processor started voiding transactions and returning funds before we even knew what or why this was happening. We sold this units within a few hours one late afternoon/evening. I emailed called and begged Springfield to help, we even offered to take a loss as long as every customer would get something in return. They brushed us off. I would be happy to show you one of the emails to Springfield. The rest of your post is not even slightly true, we HAVE NEVER STOLEN FROM A SINGLE CUSTOMER. We have a cancel order policy but this is all clearly laid out during check out. We also made it very clear how long our lead time is because we do not want customers upset or feel miss leaded. Regarding your credit card info, NOT ONE single bit of your personal information is available for any of my employees to review. In fact, if you cant get into your account you have to create a new one, because our website doesn't allow employees to enter it.
If you would like to email [email protected], I would be more than happy to speak with you in more detail and find away to help make the situation right. We are a small family business and have been in business since 2014. As i said in other reviews we have shipped over eleven thousand packages this year alone. We got smacked in the mouth by growing pains but we have listened and invested in technology and staff. TO BE VERY CLEAR WE HAVE NEVER STOLEN FROM A SINGLE CUSTOMER AND NEVER WILL, THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE.

Honestly I never said you stole from anyone. But after reading a bunch of reviews on both Yelp and Google there seemed to be a pattern with your company of not honoring deals. This pattern combined with me getting an original confirmation and order number in my email combined with someone at your company telling my wife that they had no record of the order sent up red flags in my mind. That despite us having the confirmation email made me very uncomfortable when I realized I inputted my credit infomation made me very wary of your company.

With all the other negative reviews I read about your company over the previous couple of days before having a similar experience I did not feel comfortable having given you my CC information which is why I cancelled it. I did not say you stole from anyone, but the way I gave up my CC information without anything in return concerned me enough to wonder what was going on. The potential of future credit card fraud was a concern and I was not going to take the chance.

I have been posting the review to give people a heads up. In the end I ordered a new credit card, was not out any money but had a bad experience. I wonder If my wife had not called would we ever have gotten anything saying that there was a problem? Would we just have been left hanging. Being told that they could not find any copy of the order after being put into review makes me think we would not have been contacted and would have been left hanging.

That with all the other negative reviews I’ve read from people with similar complaints from the last month or two shows a pattern, Honestly if there had not been so many similar reviews I probably would not have written the review figuring it was an honest mistake and shit happens. But with the other reviews plus my experience with your company it seems worth the effort to warn others that there is a very good possibility that they may have serious problems if they order from you. I have probably ordered between 75 to a 100 things based on ads from gundeals over the last 5 years from guns and ammo to accessories. This is the first time I ever dealt with a company that seemed shady in their business practices.

Btw..... the gun was back up on your website for sale at a higher price point later that day/night. It is still listed as in stock right now.

If the person my wife had talked to said “there was a glitch with the website.....” I might have thought wtf... but I would have understood and moved on. Straight up honesty goes a long way. Or better yet sending out an email saying there was a problem so that we did not have to waste time trying to call, being put in review and having to call again. But saying there was no record and that it did not matter that we had a confirmation email with an order number, on top of all the other people having similar bad experiences and some with worse experiences seems like a good thing to warn people about because the reviews suggest it’s been happening a lot.

Internet Troll, How are you doing? I see you copied and pasted your message on another product deal. We post at least one deal a day and the prices never change or charge customers more. If we do have to cancel and refund customers are notified. WE honor every advertised sale price that is posted or advertised by our company, Glitches and System error are not honored if we do not have inventory or guns at the cost posted. The gun you purchased was during an error that lasted a few hours one day a couple weeks ago. I have offered several times for you to email me at [email protected] and ask for the director of eCommerce. Since we are trying to work with every customer that experienced the 911 handgun error.

BEWARE this company. ordered a gun on monday 3/18/19
on tuesday 3/19/19 i got an email saying the price was wrong on the website and i would need to pay something like 13 bux more...
bait you in with a low price and then switch the price after order apparently..
they gave me the option of canceling the order or paying more.. after thinking about it awhile i decided i would not do business with people that work like this..
so anyways.. beware.. it happened to me, im sure im not the only 1....

Sir, this did happen on an error not an advertised deal. We have never changed our price on featured deals and never will. Our company has deals on gunb.deals every day and the prices are honored while we have the inventory available. WE buy from 7-10 different wholesalers and the factories as well. Sometimes so our prices change often. We used to call call customers and ask them if they wanted to wait or pay the current price, several people including your self took this the wrong way. Policies have since changed! I am not sure what gun or product you ordered, I would be happy to talk to you and resolve our mistake.
