This is a Performance Center gun, not a Ruger.
Doesn't change the fact that one would have to be desperate to pay full MSRP for this model. Let's see how fast it sells out. There must be oodles of folks willing to shell out hundreds more than this is actually worth so they can piss excellence.
"Desperate" pretty much describes the vibe right now. I saw one of these at a show a month or so ago at about $1400, not sure if that was out-the-door. It was gone the next day. Performance Center guns are nuts right now and this particular model is pretty scarce. A little too "custom" for me, but I wouldn't expect to see it last long. Worth is relative and folks are itching to spend money.
I agree: if you don't need performance center quality, you shouldn't pay performance center price.
Waiting on my new Ruger SR1911 Commander from Kentucky Gun that was 1/3 the price of this "deal". $1600? Wow, you would have to be desperate.
Thats a very good price at $1159 at current date of 5/13/2015.
I have not seen this PC1911 dropped this low.
