Adjustable Gas Blocks lets you to fine tune your rifle's gas system for smoother cycling and operation. Regulating the amount of gas used to cycle the action allows tuning the rifle’s operation to a specific load and the use of low mass bolt carriers, buffers, and springs to reduce felt recoil. This is critical to allow faster follow up shots, target acquisition and reliability.

The Davidson Defense Adjustable Gas Block is field adjustable. The operation is easy, simply turn the gas regulating screw in to lessen the amount of gas and out to add more gas, then use the brass set screw to lock the setting in place. The overall height of the gas block is 1.37” with a left to right dimensions at .94” to fit under most hand guards and still have the customization of an adjustable gas block.

Melonite Coated to reduce wear and corrosion for extended periods of fire, it also makes cleaning easier, as carbon build up will not adhere to the non-reflective coated surface as much as it does on standard Parkerized finishes.

Update #1: bought this on a sunday night and by next Saturday (today) i have it in my hands, not bad for utah to nw indiana. It came in a plain bubble wrap bag and in a plain plastic bad inside of that. Doesn't bother me as thats part of the savings, it doesnt have anything wrong with it. The machining on this thing is superb. All lines are perfect, no inconsistencies or hard edges, everything is chamfered perfectly. The retainer pin slot has a shelf milled in to aide in installing and there are 2 set screws. 1 for the amount of gas and another to set that set screw in place. You would access these from the front and right when installed. I may purchase a longer set screw because its burried deep from the front. The nitride finish is good, not perfect, buy will absolutely do. Ill probably just cerakote it if it ends up working well, because for 25 bucks (35 shipped) its way better quality than my 20 dollar anderson. Ill update as soon as its installed and test fired. As of now, i say go for it! But if youre waiting for the update, ill try to do it asap. I hate waiting as well.

I havent purchased this one but it looks really similar to my Seekins adjustable block, except it is missing a threaded/allen bolt for the exhaust. Seekins has two adjustments that allow you to adjust the amount that goes into the second gas block chamber as well as the amount the second gas block chamber bleeds out. I am going to give these a try and will report back.

I was thinking about picking one of these up. Are you being sarcastic because you've had previous problems with one?

No, he's being sarcastic because it's Davidson Defense and a $25 adjustable gas block. Probably made in CHINAH. That being said. For $25 on a budget build it might be worth the experiment.

Just because it cost $25 bucks doesn’t mean it’s low quality from the chi-coms. There is not a lot of cost in the steel, machining, and nitriding of gas blocks. The real cost is in packaging, marketing, and shipping. This varies widely from larger manufacturers, retail vendors, all the way down to small time mom ‘n pop fabrication shops. Buy direct and often you will save.
