I have the performance center sheild with this light combo and love it. It's my most carried one. You can use just the light or just the lazer or both and has a on off switch at the bottom if you want neither and its is pressure activated on the grip

How stable does it feel? I've been hesitant since it attaches to the guard rather than a rail. I've been considering buying a 2.0 with the factory laser and swapping the slides.

I have the one with the built in red laser and love it. Green definitely shows up better in daylight though. I also have an SD9 with the built in Crimson Trace Laser like this one. They are both fine but I kind of prefer the one that I can turn off and on, just personal preference. I will also say that I spoke to a couple of people at SMGA and they were awesome, very friendly and customer service oriented. From my dealings with them, Steve at CDNN and Chris at Republic Firearms, I guess I have been lucky. Have had great experiences so far, as I have also read some horror story about some of these other companies out there though, definitely have to do your homework.

How is this more expensive than the one with the built in laser????

The laserguard pro is a laser + light. The green laser is also more expensive than red. The green laserguard pro that comes with this gun has an msrp of $375 alone.

Wouldn’t it be a convenience thing? Bc the laser turns on when the pistol is gripped, in comparison to manually pushing the button? I’m speculating tho
