Handguard is 6063 extruded aluminum.Anodizing is class 2 type 3 hardcoat in accordance with MIL-A-8625.CNC machined to exacting tolerances for maximum weight removal.MLOKS are machined to Magpul technical data package specs.Picatinny rails meet MIL-STD 1913 specs.Barrel nut is 4140 pre-heat treated steel.CNC machined to exacting tolerances for maximum weight removal.We recommend no more than 50 ft. lbs. of torque.Since gas tube timing is a non-issue, 50 ft. lbs. is ample torque.Melonited finish otherwise known as black nitride.Hardware is 18-8 stainless steel with a black oxide finish.We recommend no more than 35 inch lbs. of torque.
