Fantastic shotgun. I absolutely love it. I do want to note that this is an extra shotgun. If this was my first shotgun I would not buy this but a pump. Even though I have zero issues with this shotgun I wouldn’t want it if this was my only shotgun. Gotta have a pump but I have a 590 and a 870 already. So I thought it was time for this beauty

Be a good brush/driving gun for chasing whitetails

$384.98 shipped at Grabagun for a few hours today. They had two at this price and they are now gone.

FUN GUN! Shoots fast, but didn’t cycle from the hip good.

So I have just finished my 2nd weekend at the range with my new Mossberg 930 Tactical Home Defense. This is the 1st shotgun I have purchased and I would buy it again based on my experience. I have ran only 2 3/4 shells. My gun has had zero fails feeding or ejecting any shell types so far after about 120 shells. Runs slugs, buck and bird shot flawlessly. If I had to come up with cons for this gun it would be silly to most. It shoots slugs too high at 25 yards(FROM A 18.5 inch barrel w/brass bead!). It will hold 8+1 of some shells but not all shells even though they all are 2 3/4(tolerance varies between type and manufacturer). Lead buildup just past chamber in barrel was ridiculously difficult to remove after firing rifled slugs through a smooth barrel. That's all the bad I have on this so far. Man is it fun to shoot, the gas auto loading system along with the super soft rubber stock end make this platform handle recoil with ease. 1600 fps slugs are a treat!

This is one of those where you need to buy two, it really is. 1134 power factor with the right load, 1/2 the power of 50 BMG, king of my castle anyway.

I can only speak on the 930 jm pro 24”... which I just bought this year and absolutely love. Eats the federal 7.5 shot like there is no tomorrow. It’s my first semi auto shotgun and it has been flawless.

Is this truly 8+1? Need to know before I commit to purchase.

Some of the reviews weren’t very favorable. A lot of stove piping.

Wish I’d got mine at this price! It’s a nice scattergun...

Damn it! I already have a version of the 930 with pistol grip, ghost ring sights, and a couple of other goodies on it, plus a 590 I'd ordered that is waiting on me in the states. But Mossberg/gundeals is forcing me to buy this- it's a great shotgun at a kickass price. I'd be stupid or crazy to pass this one up.

I hear that man. I have the 590A1, sweet gun! And at this price for this 930, it's a no brainer!

Extended tube mixes Tactical? Please stop using stupid buzzwords on guns. you don't throw a rail or a pistol grip or an extended tube on a pig and make it a tactical Pig.

Someone please convince me not to buy this?!?!?

It would be a great addition to my mossberg collection I already have a shockwave and a 590 A1. At 399 it seems like a steal.

$399 was a steal, this deal is now priced at $599 though. Hate I missed the $399 deal…

Amen to that. This'll be my 3rd Mossberg shotgun; this is too good of a deal to pass up.

Can't do it. This is one of the best deals on GD and gunbuyer is one of the best sellers as well.

Great gun had one for about two years, never had any problems with it in any condition, as my only current shotgun it gets a workout. The listing mentions it being chambered in 3.5" this is incorrect only the turkey models are 3.5 as far as I'm aware. Best price I've seen on one yet.

In all honesty one shot from a shotgun hip or shoulder fired should either do damage or make intruder (3) run. Lol.

In case anyone wants an update. Posted about a year ago and since have had no issues with the gun. Great shotgun and eats up any ammo. I even use it for 3 gun and been doing well. My friends have m2, m4 etc and have had more issues than this 930 for 1/3 the price haha. Get one!

A good deal, but when testing mine it didn't cycle from firing from the hip. In a home denfense situation it is possible you will need to.

Don't get me wrong it shoots fast and is a fun gun, but when a emergency happens I'm going to rely on the Mossberg 590A1.

Didn't cycle from firing from the hip? Why would that be different from shoulder firing? I know my Maverick 88 fires great from the hip and that is our first line for home defense. But I have never shot my Mossberg 930 from the hip. Let me know.

Between this 930 tactical and the 930 JM Pro which which is better?

Depends what you plan to use it for. For competition/target shooting or hunting, JM Pro would be better. This one is a defensive shotgun and is more suited for home or vehicle use.

If you get this one for home defense, I recommend looking at the stocks from Mesa Tactical. The same stocks that Benelli uses.

I struggled for weeks deciding between the 930 Blackwater edition and the FN SLP.

Mossberg in general seemed to be a love it or hate it thing depending on who you talk to. The SLP on the otherhand was known to be finnicky and overcomplicated plus cost about a grand.

Ultimately I went with then 930, saved about $400 doing so and never looked back. I couldn't ask anymore from a SA shotgun. I've run everything through it, even low brass. Its been 100% flawless and rings steel torsos with Winchester 1Oz rifled slugs at over 100 yards. And the ghost load is f'ING awesome.

This price isn't bad either. An excellent entry into the SA scatter gun game.

I have 20" version and have been shooting low brass loads exclusively for the last 3 years (it's cheaper). The only issue I had was with super low recoil skeet rounds. But even low recoil defensive rounds cycle fine. No issues other than that, not one FTF or FTE.

I missed out on this last time so I bought the Mossberg 930 Field Blued 12Ga 26-inch 5rd Semi Auto Shotgun for $348.47 and added a 4 round mag for a total of 9 rounds. Best shotgun I ever owned.

In for 1. Wanted a 930 for a while and missed the gunbuyer 930 spx deal at $540. At this price i can add the charging handle and pistol grip stock while saving some money. Dont really care for ghost ring sights on a shotgun, buckshot will make up for no sights haha.

Spend a few extra $ and pick up a Mesa Tactical stock. Got one for $130 and it's worth the money.

If this is the one you are referring to...
https://shop.opticsplanet.com/mesa-tactical-urbino-pistol-grip-stock.html?_iv_code=29Z-SK-MTUSS-94680&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=plusbox-beta&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgMnYBRDRARIsANC2dfm3xvbkT0zHycAupiBHwq_qWG5ZLe3EnRF1xSltkQk3np72UjDHWmIaAgcFEALw_wcB...
they are now only $99.99 (not sure how long that price will last). But remember, the safety on a Mossberg is on the top, not down by the trigger. Not easy to reach with a pistol grip.
