Your guy does not know how to burnish an edge either, no edge paint, no edge treatment at all. If you don't seal those edges the leather will dry out and become brittle. The edges and holes are not even dyed. Shit, cheap work. Look for a real leatherworker that uses good leather like Herman Oak or Wicket & Craig and knows what he is doing.

This is chinese junk. It is chrome tanned leather, the edges were not even burnished. It wouldn't last a year. Short, narrow, junk.
