It is an Inland so I can see some nostalgia for those that care about such a thing.
A 200 yard cartridge just doesn't smell very much like sniper (how many hundreds of moa elevation adjustment do scopes actually need ???).
Gotta love the tanker muzzle device...it's from the folding stock model they made for tank crews in wwII and I think they used it on the M2 model as well...but not 100% on that.
I thought only CNN used the term "sniper rifle."
So now were "Sniping" with 30 cal pistol cartridges.........really?
I think that's just marketing-speak for "Pic-railed so you can fit an optical sight." But your point is well-taken; cannot see spending $1k for this when you can get an AR-15 firing a _far_ more capable cartridge for the same $$... There's just no way this should cost any more than a mini-14: it's a $700 rifle at best.
This is not the inland from World War II this is a Hi-Point M1 carbine and this is a Gucci gun M1 carbines not suitable for sniping
