Is this actually a good deal for the quality (or lack thereof, I have no idea) of the components? Thanks.
I would be inclined to say no, its right at retail price for all parts involved, some maybe a little more cuz the rona riots. Also, if I spend this much on a build I would want to know where every part of the build came from (receiver, barrel, whole thing) and they give vague info about the parts used in this kit..... edit didn't realize this was a 12 month old comment....
Let's break it down upper receiver assembled can still be had for $69.99 , NIB bcg $119.99 , lower build kit with cheap ass stock $89.00 , throw in a 3 lb trigger $99-189.00, no name handguard $60.00-80.00 , stainless steel generic barrel lets go high on this for the hell of it $129.00, basic charging handle $19.99 , basic muzzle break $39.99, gas block $19.99 (that's a decent one.) Gas tube $12.00 soooo no it's about $300.00 or so too high. You could build for less and have some cash stashed for an optic.
This may be the biggest "Rip-Off" deal I've seen on gun.deals.com. The price is actually $999. The only thing that is "Premium", is the price. because the kit is comprised of bottom tier, no-name, OEM components.
