My SCAR 17 would be perfect with this, just can't justify 2/3 the price of the rifle.....and this is a deal for about $1k off retail........The weight is a set back also, imo.
Typical SCAR owner - pays $3300 for a mediocre "battle rifle", swaps out everything but the barrel and lower and then b*tches about how much optics cost.
Here's a pretty honest review on it from one of the very few respectable You Tubers. https://youtu.be/bHStWMa90Lk...
Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm leaning towards a ACOG TA11 or possibly a 4x32 Browe BCO 308 reticle because they are on sale for $965. Probably ACOG. I love my TA31 on my LMT NZ-CQB.
Thanks.... I thought maybe a terminator live function facial recognition reticle. I'll keep twisting my throw lever for now.
Can someone give me a short answer on why this 1.5-6 is 2K?
Because it has the letters "E,L,C,A,&N" in the name. These letters feature prominently in the name of the optical sights specially selected to grace the tops of the combat issue small arms utilized by the armed forces of our friends & allies from far off Canuckistan and Blighty. The actual user reports on the SpecterDR is that it closely approximates canine excrement and there is far better equipment available for much le$$ walletary pain...
A capability nothing else has (flip a switch to go from 1.5-6x.). Sandbox certified credibility. Superior function and clarity. Backed by a major player in the mil industry.
Haters gonna hate but the ladies are all up in my slacks when they see my SpectrDR
