Description

US Made AK-47 Blemished Parts Kit
American-made parts kit, every part you need to build a rifle, except stamped receiver.

Because these parts kits are blemished, they sell for 57% less than the retailer's usual offerings.  Not that many blemished parts kits are offered at one time and at price point they sell out fast, so be sure and subscribe to "out of stock" notifications for email heads-up, if you want to get one of these kits for a rifle build.

Royal tiger Imports has these kits come in stock, and when they will sell out at such an unbeatable price point, then a week or so later they'll be back in stock. I just checked today Sunday November 11th and RTI has eight of these parts kits in stock.

I've learned a little bit more about the parts kits.  People inform me that these are leftovers made by IO when building American-made AK's.

Others speculated (but have not been able to confirm) these kits come with cast bolts/trunnions not forged (Kalashnikov concern in Russia forges trunnions and bolts).

Forums online have debated whether heat treatment has been properly performed (so that the hardness of the chamber and the bolt are well matching for minimal wear).

For someone like myself that enjoys tinkering, experimenting and building, having cast trunnions is no big deal, because if they break, I would simply use cast parts as a pattern and Forge myself new trunnions, and as for Heat Treating the bolt, I'd make sure hardness is compatible with barrel/chamber.
