Cool, but horrendous trigger. At least on the one I tried. I’m talking 10lb plus and gritty bad.
That's one ugly looking gun! Having said that, I would like to see a version without the suppressor as I like the design of the half slide, top guide rods, break down, and overall design of the gun! It is cool that the Suppressor is modular. Still Ugly!
These jokers cancelled my order and claimed it was a mistake.
It's appeal is that it doesn't add 4+ inches to your pistol, making it still a carryable size, not S&W 500 size. The question is though, does it require any ATF paperwork?
"Carryable" in the same way an MP5 is... What kind of holster are you going to use with that thing? You would need a sling.
OAL is a little over 6 inches, if you read. Roughly the same size as a full size 1911. Not exactly CCW size, but still more manageable than a 5.5 inch pistol + 4 or more inches of suppressor. And its made by SilencerCo so I'm sure either they will have a holster or someone will make one for it. I would also gamble that it could fit a universal holster that has WML provisions. Use your head sometimes.
The Maxim 9 transfers on an ATF Form 4 upon approval of the submission package and payment of the $200 tax where allowed by law.
Probably not going to catch on. It is huge and looks ridiculous. The amount of money they put into this will bankrupt the company. Falling suppressor prices aren't going to help either.
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine. One thing that you gotta know about silencerco. They give zero f*%%s about the price per can of the suppressor market. If they did care then why did they throw everything they had at getting silencers off the registry? The CEO of silencerco was asked about what he did if silencers went off the registry and his business folded. His quote "I'll go do something else".
Does it take glock 9mm mags??
