I have to do a warranty claim with Crimson Trace without ever firing a round while using the light. I had this on the left side of my rifle and decided to switch it to the right side. After that the light never turned back on. Weird huh?

Just throw it away, it’s crap. It’s just a rebrand of the same one S&W buys from a Chinese distributor.

Buy a decent streamlight if you’re budget-minded and a decent mount like bcm, arisaka or gear sector and be done.

A WML light failing on you when you really need it is just about as bad as your weapon going down. For under a hundred there are many options out there better than this.

I’m not throwing it away. I’ll bug them till it’s fixed. However, I do remember when Crimson Trace was “Made in America” now the quintessential firearms company S&W has bought two high end brands and cheapened them. The other being Gemtech.

Maybe it`s a Left hand only light?

Every order I made from Optics Planet always has a problem. Either one or more items in the order gets canceled. Or the item that states will ship in 1 to 3 days is not in stock and shipping will be delayed. I have never had a order go smoothly from order to delivery.

To update, I emailed their customer service and these lights are NOT eligible for the rebate

I dont think this rebate is valid for weapon light systems anyway. Only for lasers

If they got rid of the logo and streamlined the bulky mount, both the 500/900 lumens versions would be pretty decent, spill and throw and good. Also, make the body black in color and drop the cheesy red ring.

The normal budget weapon lights I see recommended are the 275 lumens Streamlight 88851 (36.95 on Amazon) and the 600 lumens SureFire G2X (56.38 on amazon, though that's higher than I normally see it) which is not officially a weapon light. This is smaller, lighter, includes the mount and free batteries. No idea on stuff past the spec-sheet though.

However checking the Crimson Trace website, it seems they're discontinuing this model. CWL-101 can only be found via the search but it returns an error page, and there's a CWL-102 listed as "coming soon".

WML does not use cycling modes. Stupid product.

Don’t buy this as WML...the interface makes it pure crap.

Pocket light or some other non immediate need situation but definitely not as a wml. Bought two, returned two

Comes up $44.97 per flashlight all the way to putting CC info in... not $37.79 as stated.
