The Larue MBT at $90 is now the benchmark that all other cheaper and more expensive competitors are compared to.
If contemplating a cheaper competitor the question is "Why don't I spend a little more and get the obviously superior Larue".
If contemplating a pricier competitor you ask yourself "Is the extra money really going to get me anything appreciably better than the Larue"

Larue should nickname the MBT "The Disrupter"

I took a chance and purchased one of these for the lower price that PSA is now offering. I installed it in my trigger testing lower. The first stage on mine was 1.5 lb and the second stage was 3.4 lb. It's advertised it 1.75 lbs per stage. I'm not sure if I got a dud. At any rate I decided to return it for a refund. The LaRue MBT is a great value as is the G2s for not much more $.

1.75 for stage one + additional 1.75 for stage two = 3.5# final pull

Fair warning folks they are way backed up as this response was just for this exact 2 stage trigger. Make sure you pack a lunch for these wait times as they are Larue level:

We are currently taking around 10-15 business days to process orders.

I can confirm that the larue mbt-2 trigger is very comparable to the geiselle ssa-e, but at half the price. I've purchased more than 10 of the large mbt-2, and almost half a dozen different geiselle 2 stage. Larue mbt, far lighter pull than the the standard ssa, and more closely matched to the ssa-e. I prefer the larue over ssa-e, plus its half the price.

I have not used this PSA 2 stage so I'm not trashing it. It looks very similar to RRA 2 stage, stag, and a few others, all pricesd under $90, serving as a $90 trigger should.
However, none of those compare to the geiselle or larue. Bottom line on this trigger is for $20 more you can buy a proven winner with the larue mbt-2.

if you like the SSA-E, take a loot at the G2S-E... like the G2S, it's basically a clone of the SSA-E except with a d-ring to hold the hammer spring vs. a J-spring. Bill G himself said that after a few hundred rounds you can't tell the difference. They're a brownells exclusive right now and can be had for $125 on sale. I like the MBT-2S myself, and while it's GREAT, the G2S-E edges it out slightly so the $125 shipped vs $95 shipped for the LaRue isn't a horrible thing if you like how the SSA-E feels

At this price in my opinion, look at the G2S, it can be had for the same price when on sale or the Larue MBT for $87 currently.

agreed. the MBT in both curved and straight bow forms are THE buy of the decade for a sub $100 trigger. Over $100 I'm going for the G2S-E (basically an SSA-E) for $125, but under $100... no question about it. The MBT

I think the deal is the free shipping. Either way, this is bullshit. I'm hunting down a trigger right now. I was thinking about a JP Spring kit and then I saw some REALLY good priced drop-ins and then it struck me. Geissele. Why wouldn't I just hunt down a Geissele on sale somewhere? I'm sure as shit not going to get a PSA match trigger. They are good for somethings, I guess, but this isn't one of them.

Check out the LaRue MBT-2S. Only $87 and every bit as crisp as my Geiselle SSA-E.

LaRue Tactical at larue.com. My best guess is the wait time is running about a month, but you won't be disappointed when it arrives. The last time I checked, this trigger had over 700 customer reviews, with an average score of over 4.9 out of 5. Larue's customer base is made up mostly of experienced shooters, that know their shit. If you take the time to read some of the reviews, you will find it difficult not to buy the trigger.

Yeah, the MBT-2 is a damn good trigger. I have 3. I also have Geiselle SSA and Super Scar and I can't tell much difference between them and the mbt2. The difference is negligible either way, the biggest difference is the price....
