Don’t buy from gunsmidwest, they sell stuff they don’t have in stock, refuse to return any emails and then cancel your order 4-6 weeks later! Oh and their phone number just goes straight to voicemail with a message that basically says we won’t call you back!!! Their customer service has to be the worst in the business!!

This comment is related to the Maxim 9 with free suppressor rebate: I received this (quotations below) in an email from Guns Midwest today as a response to my request for a dated, paid invoice with serial number listed. I have followed up with an email asking when I will receive the paid invoice.

"Yes, we will provide all of the information needed for the rebate.

Thanks to all you guys who are nailing down the details on the rebate.

I got an alert at 2:45 a.m. this morning saying it was back in stock so I seized the opportunity.

I emailed them about the the conditions for the rebate. I copied and pasted from Silencerco that you need to have a dated receipt with amount and serial number on it for submission. I got an email back a day later saying that they can provide a copy of the ATF Eforms. I sent a second emails stating that the rebates makes no mention of ATF Eforms and specifically calls out what is required. I still have not heard back. Some of these rebates are a real pain on what they want and trying to get retailers to provide it.

Looks like it did come back in stock! I talked to my local class 3 transfer shop and they only charge $40 for transfers so I'm assuming I will pay $80 for the Maxim9 and free Octane transfers +$400 in tax stamps. Still a great deal! One thing to note about GunsMidwest is they appear to only talk through email, I have called 3 times with no answer.

It still shows "in stock" on the website... I'm gonna call in the morning! Awesome deal!!

OOS. Wish I would have bought one last night.

This is a great price for a Maxim9 and Octane suppressor, I wasn't planning on getting one so soon but I couldn't pass up this deal. Should I get the Octane 9 or 45? I have a use for both but was wondering if one was a better deal? I know the 45 can also does 9mm so that might be the one I go for.
