Will Flag Code Violations never end?

The flag I solute is Red, White, and Blue. It has 50 stars and 13 bars. It looks nothing like the deco on this gun. Better drop by your shrink and get a refill. They are breaking none of the rules you quoted.

I have mixed feelings about the way we use the flag in America. It's a symbol of something many fought and died for, so we should show it the upmost respect as the flag of our country. At the same time, the freedom to use parts of it as decoration, or even have the American Flag on a t-shirt, for example, is exactly the kind of freedoms so many have bled and died for. (For which I must give a huge "THANK YOU!" because my fat butt lives under the freedom you've provided.)

The Supreme Court has ruled it can be burned as a form of free speech, which I personally find despicable, but if we value free speech we have to allow even that speech we may find offensive (within legal reason.)

I don't personally like seeing the American Flag on guns, but I'm happy to live in a country where we have the freedom to do such things, again, within reason. Hopefully, those we owe so much to for defending our country will see this as a tribute to their sacrifices and pride in the USA rather than the crass use of a hallowed symbol, even if it's only in part.

I agree 100%.I think any decorations on any gun is tacky. But one thing about clothing...
'Unless an article of clothing is made from an actual United States flag, there is NO breach of flag etiquette whatsoever. People are simply expressing their patriotism and love of country by wearing an article of clothing that happens to be red, white, and blue with stars and stripes.'
So if you see a beautiful shirt at Walmart(or your favorite clothing store)that has an American flag as a design, buy it and wear it proudly. We have people burning flags and wiping their arse with it and people like this dingus 'IDPA-USPSA-Champare' flipping out that this gun has stars on it?Come on.

As far as advertising,"The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever."But being a patriotic country, most stores will have some type of flag somewhere.Firework stands have flags.New car dealers have flags. If there was actually a 'Flag Police'(other than IDPA-USPSA-Champ),60%-80% of our population would be in jail come July.Even fireworks themselves have flags printed on them. And who doesn't discard fireworks?Hell,we blow them up!But that is the point of fireworks.John Adams wanted us to. Before the Declaration of Independence was even signed, he envisioned fireworks as a part of the festivities. ... The first commemorative Independence Day fireworks were set off on July 4, 1777.

You just have to ask yourself, are they being patriotic or disrespectful.

Maybe you need to read the United States Flag Code.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Flag_Code...
It says nothing about putting a few stars and white bars on a pistol. Not to mention not being the right color.Maybe you can enlighten us on what codes they are breaking?

Oh you AGAIN.........Like it's my F@CKING job to educate you AGAIN......

(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered, printed or otherwise impressed on anything

Now go get you a 6 pack of those BLUELINE Cop T-Shirts & License Plates that Completely violate about 3 articles and shove them up your TROLLING HILLBILLY IGNORANT ass.

The Avatar Matches the Drapes folks........he's 1000 years old and dumb as a F@CKING ROCK, but lets let him keep the name "badass" it makes him feel better about being kicked around in high school.

Maybe you should educate yourself before spreading misinformation to others.A few stars and bars does not represent our flag.Just like a red white and blue mug does not represent our flag. This gun is not 'advertising' anything.

The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.

Last time I checked,no one bought a $450 pistol and discarded it.A gun is not a cushion, napkin, box,or handkerchief.Again, educate yourself before spreading misinformation to others.Maybe you can try again and find ANOTHER law they are breaking.

Wow. Again with some of these posts. Maybe they should place an age restriction on this site-MUST ACT AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE. Calling people a newb? How 5th gradish. I bet you were one of the guys who talked down to Freshman when you were a Softmore because you were just so much better. I come on here shopping for guns and ammo and I get porn links and kids pretending to be adults. Do the moderators ever monitor these posts?
