Never able to add to cart, but now it's out of stock. I'm thinking it was never in stock, just a computer glitch on their part
Wont let me add to cart. I get this when I try:
Attention!
We're sorry, CCI Select Precision Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Box of 500 (5 Boxes of 100) has a status of Available and cannot be added to your cart.
yeah weird...does same to me. Why is this so expensive? If it wasn't for the fact that it is Midway I would think it is gouging but midway doesn't gouge so that leads me to the real question. What is so great about this ammo? I know CCI is the best but is this special somehow? It doesn't say match but is precision basically the same thing?
Yeah this is the good stuff. Ran around this price before the panic. Very consistent shooting with this, usually 1" or less groups at 50-100 yards with proper barrel and optics. Plus it is very easy on the barrel and burned very clean. For just plinking its not worth the price, but if you compete, or want the most accuracy this is a good choice. Well actually now that some of the gougers out there are charging 20 cents or more a round for crap ammo, this is definitely worth 14 cents a round.
yeah seems to me worth buying this when people charging same for plain 22 lr on open market
Even when other ammo was cheaper, I liked to keep a couple boxes of this on hand. It would pay for itself when I'd bet my friends I could shoot better than them. They would make a nice 3 inch group at 100 yards, and I would had 5 holes touching each other. Easy $20 bucks in my pocket lol.
Even if you didn't care about shooting better than your friends, its nice to have quality ammo just to see how accurate your gun can be.
bah....i guess it wasnt meant to be. I finally got it in my cart and had 5 small boxes 1 big and decided I was just going to get the big so took out small then noticed it was only $1 dif shipping so went back to add back and bam sold out.....eh well
