As much as I wanted to like the c39, I cannot recommend them unless you are buying it for the sexiness, as every C39 I have inspected with over a few thousand rounds has had serious issues with metal being too soft, most likely due to improper heat treat. In One case, this led to complete stoppage of the bolt, requiring serious smacks from a cleaning rod and a foot on the charging handle. The lug and where it resides in the chamber were smashed out far enough for the headspace to be off on a couple that I tested, and all had signs of bad heat treat.
Hi, is this information up to date? I am looking to buy my first AK pistol and not sure which route to go. I read mixed reviews on these.
These really should be 12.5 inch barrels
Why would you even when a good PSA 300blk pistol can be had for $400-500? That's a lot of starter ammo in the savings.
