Palmetto State Armory Liberty Lower
Palmetto State Armory is pleased to announce the release of our new "Liberty" AR-15 lower receiver. These lowers are made using the most advanced aerospace manufacturing technology to produce the industries finest, forged Mil-Spec lowers. Our receivers are machined on a multimillion dollar, automated, manufacturing system which enables us to produce a product of unequaled quality and value.
These forged lowers are quality made using material is 7075-T6 and are marked "CAL MULTI" to accommodate most builds. Finish is Black Hardcoat Anodize per MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2.
Liberty lowers may come with either Safe/Fire or Bullet Pictogram markings, depending on stock..
A little History: The Moultrie flag was designed by Colonel William Moultrie by commission in 1775. The blue feild represents the color of the Militia's uniforms and the crescent is a Gorget, which was an emblem on on the Militia's caps.
On June 28th, 1776 the British sent a fleet of ships to take Charleston, SC. Col. Moultrie and a band of volunteers manned the incomplete fort on Sullivans Island, at the mouth of the Charleston harbor, to defend the city from attack. For ten hours the volunteers at the fort blasted away at the british ships, inflicting much damage and finally forcing them to withdraw back to New York. The fort was able to withstand the British attack because of its construction of native palmetto tree logs. The logs are far more elastic than regular wood, and absorbed the British barrage instead of splintering. The Fort was later named in honor of Colonel Moultrie, and the palmetto tree and Gorget became the inspiration for the South Carolina State flag. There are several versions of the Moultrie Flag. Some versions have the word Liberty at the bottom of the flag and some within the gorget in the upper left hand corner.

The 80% lower thing makes no sense unless you are a hobbyist who enjoys working on projects or you value your privacy.
Yes, both of those are the entire point of an 80. Plus the feeling from building one more step from scratch. It's a deep, deep, hole....started cerakoting because of it. Is it the most economical option? Not at this point in time, but for gear gurus totally worth it.
Why would someone pay 80 to 100$ for 80% lower when you can buy these for so cheap
I am just asking as a newbie the difference
Wow. More expensive than a billet lower with integrated trigger guard.
