Description

Born of the Traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the Legendary Single Action Army Revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22 LR cartridges the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art-precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want 'em. The machined barrel is micro-threaded, and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action.

This model has stunning U.S. Flag grips with a weathered finish. The matching box, with the 2nd Amendment printed on the back, is perfect for gift giving. You'll want one for yourself too!

I am confused why this doesn't include the extra 22 WMR cylinder at this price. I have the 6.5" rosewood version that fires either 22 LR or 22 Mag, and I paid less a few years ago. I understand the flag grip bumping up the price a little, but not why it should be 22 LR only.

Anywho, mine's a lot of fun. Well built and quite powerful with some CCI Velocitor LR or CCI TNT WMR. I would recommend to put some high-temp grease on the gear mechanism to help minimize wear.

I believe it also supports quick fire by "fanning" (like you've seen in wild western movies), though I've personally only used the "thumbing" technique with mine (pulling and releasing the hammer multiple times while holding the trigger depressed).
