Buy a shield and stop looking at this junk.

Had a Shield, shot both, got rid of that junk Shield and haven't regretted it for a second. It's a superior pistol in every way.

Beware there guns aren't drop safe. They resisted in fixing them. So don't count on the company making your gun drop safe.

Actually they have started a voluntary upgrade to fix it, just like sig did.

I own a Shield M2.0 and 2 of these, I can tell you they are NOT the same gun. They both feel great in the hand and the trigger on the Honor is much better. They are both great guns. If you can't decide between the 2, buy both, that's what I did. It's much better than being insufferable fan boy pricks.

I have both Shield and Honor Guard. They are both Outstanding guns. I really love everything about the Honor Guard. You can’t go wrong with either!

Rather than buy both, maybe put the money towards a single kimber micro 9 and be done with it.

And have $100 left over for ammo!

After watching my buddy put his $1200 kimber .45 in his safe due to problems and seeing the issues the micro had on release, I'd rather spend my money wisely than waste it there.

Why would you be endorsing a gun that isn’t drop safe? And why would you buy more than 1 of them?? Talk about a waste of money.

Guess I got lucky with mine, runs perfectly and bonus: isnt a poly ripoff of an mp shield.

Ya, that's the way to buy an overpriced defense pistol, get lucky that it works. My friend pulled his from the safe to have kimber repair, not on warranty, they charged him to fix it. We took it out shooting, he developed a couple welts on his head from the shells ejecting at him. I shot it, the first round it ejected right in the middle of my forehead, hurt like hell. That's from a "fixed" 1200 dollar kimber. Needless to say, by the next week he had traded the POS, at a massive loss, for a Sig P229 SAS and couldn't be happier. He's DONE with kimber. My Honor Guards, which have been back from the drop issue upgrade for a long time now, worked like champs. Sometimes I put my Acid Green grip on, sometimes blue, sometimes Olive Green and some times the Mahogony grip frame, one of the benefits of a removable chassis. I own a Shield M2.0 and a 4" Compact 2.0 it is NOT a knock off of. Sound like you've got a little penis problem. You aren't going to feel better wasting your money on crappy overpriced brands by trashing obviously better guns.

Never witnessed a Kimber that didn’t get sent back at least once in my circle of friends. I’ll never spend a dime on Kimber again. Good call Chief

Agreed, I have a Kimber Solo and it is junk.

Really? So someone can interchange parts between this gun and a shield? Can you please share your wisdom and identify which proprietary parts are actually interchangeable, because that would be a post / comment worth reading. Thanks in advance for sharing your obvious expertise on these two products!!!

I had a Shield, then got my hands on one of these. Got rid of the Shield immediately. There wasn't a single thing the S&W was better at.
