Description

Introducing the game changing Sig Sauer P365. Micro-compact everyday carry size with unprecedented 10+1 full-size capacity. The P365 is striker-fired, with the clean crisp trigger pull you expect from a SIG. Lightweight and easy to conceal, the P365 is chambered in 9mm and is rated for +P ammunition. Included standard is SIGLITE night sights, a 10-round flush fit magazine, and a 10-round extended magazine. An optional 12-round extended magazine allows you to bring the total capacity to 13 rounds. The new P365. Bring More. Everyday.

The unique grip design and higher grip to bore axis reduces perceived recoil and makes the P365 as comfortable to shoot as many mid-sized pistols. The grip is fully-textured polymer with a slim-line rail that will accommodate SIG light or laser accessories. The stainless-steel slide comes standard with front and rear serrations for easier slide manipulation, as well as SIGLITE® night sights for faster sight acquisition under all lighting conditions.

Disassembly is safe and easy with a three-point takedown that does not require the trigger to be pulled. A generous trigger guard undercut also allows for a higher hand position and better retention. The narrowing magazine design allows the upper part of the grip to be perfectly contoured to fit the shooter’s thumb when fired.

The P365 is a pistol for professionals and civilians alike who want a smaller, high-performance pistol that does it all. This is the ultimate, everyday concealed carry pistol.

Research before wallet flushing... p365 has seen lots of issues.

Game Changer? I mean really? A fool and his money folks.........I've been carrying 10+1 for about 1/2 that cost for TWO YEARS already. So it weighs what a Beretta NANO already weighs and gives you 10 rounds. Magguts on a shield at $279 with a mail in rebate will do the same thing at about 1/2 the price. Game Changer MY ASS!

OK, you can get ten rounds in a Shield. But you need an extended magazine to do it - which makes it a bigger gun. Maybe that doesn't matter with the way you carry, but I want something I can pocket carry, and a Shield with an extended mag is less than ideal for me in that role. But it looks like the P365 might be small enough to be a viable option for pocket carry.

Then there's the fact that a Shield loaded with ten rounds is going to be a few ounces heavier than a P365 loaded with ten. When I carry a subcompact, I want it to be as small and light as possible.

And also, the P365 has a 12-round mag option. I can carry a 12-round mag as a spare. I don't believe the Shield has a 12-round option.

So for me, the SIG is definitely something worth considering and I wouldn't have a problem giving them my money.

This pistol is about the same size as a Glock 43 but carries 10+1 with stock magazines. Extension magazines takes it to 12. Comes stock with night sights that cost $80-$100 to add to a G43.

This pistol, if the trigger is good, and it shoots well is probably the most interesting CCW product shown at SHOT this year and Sig will sell a ton of them.

Like a lot of people I alternate between carrying my lower capacity G43 in warm weather so I can conceal it under a light shirt or tee shirt and a G19 that I carry when I have enough clothing on for deep concealment.

The G43 is also a lot more comfortable to conceal appendix than the G19.

This SIG would give me a single carry pistol I could carry year round without giving up much in the way of capacity over my "compact" G19.

I'm quite interested in it.

I've got to examine one in person before I say yay or nay. The trigger & mag release tension would be big deciding factors for me. It would have to be phenomenal to replace my Walther P99c AS. I like that this Sig is so thin & still packs 10+1 though.

They must be super proud of this one for that price. My VP9SK was much cheaper than that.

I love my vp9sk. BUT this new Sig is same capacity and about 6 ounces lighter. I wish they could’ve shaved more weight off the vp9sk and packed at least one or two more rounds in that magazine.

Where was thd VP9sk cheaper??? I bought it when it first came out and thd cheapest I found was $575. I searched dozens of places online.

At a quick first glance at the pic, I thought this was Taurus redesigning the PT-111 again.

It's a lot smaller than a PT111. I wish I could upload a picture, the one I saw looks like it may be between the LC9 and Kahr CM9/PW9. My EDC is the Kahr which is 6+1 so if I can almost double my capacity in a gun almost the same size, I'm gonna.

I’m in for a P365 on Preorder from SWFA woohoo! You have to call in the order to use the free shipping code, FYI. They said there’s about 50 remaining for preorder. $499 no tax AND I was able to add some 12 round mags for $39.99 each! Can’t wait!!!

They better have a flush fit mag to go along with that raptor claw sticking out of the bottom of that piece. That thing would stab you in the gut every time you sat down. It has to be comfortable or it isn't an option for concealment. I'm sure this is a good gun. Let some other guys beta test this. Let's wait and see. I'd say let's wait for the price to go down, but this is a Sig.

-I don't see a safety, so DAO?
-I don't see a pic rail, but a proprietary rail exclusively for over priced sig accessories.
-A double stack mag with single stack thickness is neat but MSRP on these mags are $50 and up.

At this point the P365 seems like just another P250, which was an ok pistol, but I don't want to own either currently.
I like sig but they seem to have a big ego, a need to over stuff their deep pockets, and aren't ASKING what gun owners want they want, they are TELLING gun owners what they want.

Obviously you dont know what youre talking about 250 is much thicker and heavier and hammer DAO long heavy trigger pull. This is slim like a shield or G43. Striker fired much better trigger than 250 but its a completly different in almost every way.

What? Gun owners want that sized pistol but with more capacity. So many people poo-poo the G43 cuz it’s only 6+1 (I love my 43). Well this Sig is nearly the same size, smaller in some dimensions, but with 4 more rounds on board, 6 more with the 12 round mag. Night sights are standard, 12 round mags aren’t cheap but they’re not that bad for the gun that’s supposedly your EDC. I see preorders under $600. How is this new pistol a bad thing? Beyond the normal skepticism of a new gun, the concept is sound and assuming they work correctly, Sig will sell many, many 365s in 2018.

I want to see this next to a Kahr PM9. Sig hit a home run with this new mag design! Sig factory mags are always on point, so the cost is what it is. I saw the trigger dry fired and it looked/sounded good!

If you saw the trigger pull online, can you provide a link please?

https://youtu.be/kVBMfSbC3VM not the greatest review but you can hear the crisp break (and no double-click yayyy). Also it’s listed as 5lbs and supposedly has a p320ish pre-travel

Thanks.
That video was edited wierd but I'm glad they showed off the mag a little.
Still not sold on this pistol but I haven't held or fired it.

"aren't ASKING what gun owners want, they are TELLING gun owners what they want."

Apple does the same thing. No consumer testing. And Apple still has more cash on hand than any other company in the world.

Big changes don't happen when worrying about such things.

This gun is basically the same size as the 938, Micro 9 and others. Actually smaller than both of those in every way, other than being slightly taller in height.

And those guns have a flush-fit of 6 rounds. The P365 has 10.

"Apple does the same thing" and their lack of innovation is causing them to loose market share, so that's maybe not the best comparison.

I fired the 938, impressed with the size but not the controls. 938 is better than the Kimber .380, which shot poorly, that a friend's wife had to send in multiple times for repairs.

Am I the only one that remembers the P250 launch? Huge hype, even on this site. P250 is launched, people hate on it especially the DAO trigger, sig announces recall, sig discontinues. I thought the p250 was okay but this seems like history repeating.

I think you may be misguided. There's no comparison to the P250 here.

SIG has managed to fit 10 rounds into the same size magazine as every other similar-sized pistol, which has a standard of 6-7 in a single-stacked magazine.

History is only repeating itself here by innovation continuing to progress.

Plenty of subcompact versions are more than their compact/full size counterparts. Examples include the CZ Rami and HK VP9SK. Plus, I suspect the price of this P365 will drop over time.

Sig claims this is only 1” wide, sub 6” in length, less than 17 ounces and can hold a double stack 10 rd mag. That’s slightly smaller than the guns you mentioned, but when it comes to conceal carry, every size savings counts.
