Can you swap out the stock on this shotgun?

Walmart sells this same gun for around $150. Just bought one there.

Exactly, I saw it yesterday there for $149. Sure you pay tax, but no FFL fee. I don't see how this posting is a deal.

Available at my LGS for $179. No shipping and no FFL fee. Plus local g-smith to back it up.

I have the field model with the 28 inch barrel, and it has been great. It has a very smooth action. I'd prefer the Maverick 88 as a sub $200 home defense gun, but this is a good alternative.

The only "Rebate" info I can find is for a free beer can holder with the purchase of $150 gun. Does anyone know if there is a financial rebate?

I think savage had a rebate on some of their rifles months ago.. but far as I know this does not and has not had a rebate in recent memory.

I've owned a Stevens 320 before and it is an amazing 12ga for the price. I ended up selling it to help pay a medical bill and have missed it ever since. Smooth as glass action and 3" capable. If you need a cheap 12 that will get the job done I highly recommend.

Idk why it marked my comment as 2 and a half stars. I give it a full 5

That review score is if other people rate your comment up or down. By default it's at 3/5 stars.

Ok so I took my own advice and took 5 seconds to look it up. Apparently savage Stevens shotguns are made in china. Wow didnt see that coming good to know

Good to know

I didn't believe it either. Some good shotguns coming from China and Turkey, from the reviews I read.

My brother has this one with the pistol grip. The action is smoother than my Maverick 88. At this price, why not?

I be had this for about 3 years I don’t shoot it as much might have a few hundred rounds about 300 plus, haven’t had any problems, mostly bird shot and some 00 buck. I picked it up at academy for $160 normally back then was about I want to say $220. Pole pole have had their share of bad luck with them. But to each their own.

Definitely made in “PRC”. I’ve got a couple just for by the door guns. Didn’t realize they were Chinese made until after I got them. Shoot great though.

Someone in this thread claimed this to be a Chinese clone. Stevens is the shotgun division of savage, they make decent/inexpensive stuff from what I've read. I don't like to tell people how to live their lives but if you don't know what your taking about spend 5 seconds to look it up jeez.

"So, how did the company manage to equip a tactical shotgun with such features as ghost-ring sights and a pistol-grip buttstock without raising the price to the territory of even most field-grade pump guns? Dermody cites a few proprietary changes to the 320's manufacturing techniques compared with how Winchester was making the 1300. But the crux of the strategy is cheap labor. Unlike the American-made Savage line of rifles, Stevens shotguns are imported. The 320 is made in a newly constructed facility in a remote region of China."

Yup Yup, Chinese made shotgun.
I thought it was a clone of a winchester I just didn't know what model.

When I first looked at it in the store I thought it was a modified 870 design.

Only have about 25 shells of #8 bird in mine so far so good.. to early to tell long term but I paid 150 + tax and Im happy with it.. the gun really does not need anything.. I really like the furniture on it, although the rubber buttpad is TOO soft imo.. kinda tacky feeling too (hair/lint collector)

But otherwise it's gtg out of the box.. nothing really needs to be done with it, slap a sling on it, toss on a light and MAYBE a fiber optic on the bead.. good value gun imo.

It's my new beater.

After shipping and FFL fees, I personally would try to find a Weatherby PA-08 locally for $200.

Anyone have any more info on this gun? I'm always looking for an addition to my combat shotgun collection and the price is great- but don't want to buy it if it's Chinese made. "If it's too good to be true......." Thanks in advance for any intell on this shotgun.

I don't have this exact model but I have the 320 with the added pistol grip and the sight is standard bead.

I paid 150 + tax at my local dealer and I think it's a great gun for the money, however at 175 shipped I might try to steer you towards a maverick 88, especially if you're like me and the 7+1 model with the slightly longer 20inch barrel.

I will say though that I love the forearm on these and it not only feels good but also has less play than the mav88.

The 320 I have has a rubber pad on the stock but it's almost too soft for it's own good and is kinda "tacky" to the touch, not sure if they use the same sort of rubber/pad on this one.

Pleased especially with trigger crispness @ this price

This appears to be a Chinese clone of the Winchester 1300 12GA series. Expect no frills and fancy finishes, but should be a workhorse with a variety of ammo types. I have not had the opportunity to try out this firearm, but the reviews online seem to be relatively positive. There is a variant with a pistol grip for a bit more money.

I bought one of the 320s from Walmart a few years back and had a spare Win 1300 barrel laying around and it actually interchanged with the 320. I loved the 320 when I had it. Very tempted to buy another
