These are brand new, arrived in perfect condition and look almost too nice to use. The brown color is darker and better looking than classic US military desert tan. They're metal with a strong latch and decent gasket. I haven't done a submersion test but the overall quality is well worth $10.
Don’t read these outdated comments. These are available in 3 colors in-store for $10 + tax. They work great for bulk box ammo, like 200 round boxes, fitting snugly full-width and nearly full-height.

I purchased 2 of these during last years sale. They are great boxes... but this time around I wasn’t able to get the free shipping which made this particular deal a no go for me . I’m not complaining, it is what it is . Maybe next time I can get the free shipping again! If you qualify for free shipping then purchase at least 4 , you’ll wish you had when that deal doesn’t come around again.
This item does not qualify for free shipping… Furthermore, it is online only. Even though they have hundreds in stock at my local Academy, I can’t buy it there and less I pay full price. To add insult to injury, they don’t offer buy online and pick up in store to avoid shipping.
