With the huge success of the Tavor, prices of the second most popular bullpup rifle are dropping. Awesome. I have a Tavor and love it, but I would love to have a Steyr Aug too. This seems like a great deal with all the mags and a sling!

This is not the Steyr Aug A3 NATO and does not accept AR mags.

Steyr Aug A3 came in 3 versions: A3, A3 NATOR, A3 CQC

I wish we got a little more info on the Mags.

They have the nato version for just a little more.

*SPOILER ALERT* Guess I warn people who care, that this may be a Walking Dead *SPOILER* for you.

I know this is an awesome gun, but I just can't take it seriously any more ever since I saw The Governor using it constantly in The Walking Dead.

The best part is how after he loses the initial fight against Rick and gang and ends up as a drifter on the road alone, he somehow miraculously has the weapon again after he joins the new camp of people later on.

Also the part where they attack the prison, and he is aiming and looking down the sight with his patched eye.

The guys that abandoned him took it, and they died/got killed, so he got it back. I noticed the continuity issue, but it 'could' have happened that way...
How he got an FA Aug in the first place was my question, as those have to be super rare in the US...

At $1800, the Tavor has some competition!

Can someone explain to me why they all look this way??

I want this gun but I don't want the rail on top.. I want the scope like so:

The AUGs with scopes I believe are the Pre-ban Steyrs, which is going to cost a lot more than the current ones now. The VLTOR marked Steyr AUGs now are more updated and AFAIK, you can get a different rear stock and trigger pack to run AR15 mags and drop the Steyr AUG specific mags which cost more.

He says that that version uses Steyr's own optic on it. I'm guess most people nowadays would rather have the flat rail to put their own optics on. Maybe the version with Steyr's own optic is an older model? Good review though.

Your link is a pic of the old one. You may still be able to find one, but the one with the rail is much better. Gives you a LOT more flexibility in sight/optic options. With the one you linked, it has a fixed 1x scope that cannot be removed. Just my 2 cents.

Good rifle, but the price is a bit steep and I would buy from CTD anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Another stupid gouger post... Get it through your heads!

THERE ARE NO GOUGERS!!!

Just the dumbest, most stupid kind of moronic consumers willing to pay their prices.

There's no one to blame but your fellow under thinking, over spending Americans. They ruin it for the rest of us.

Want someone to blame? Blame the defenders and consumers of $35 bricks of .22lr and guys that pay more money for lowers they have to finish. Blame the idiots, the $1 a round "Zombie" crowd, but don't blame the Heroes of Capitalism that are getting rich off their ignorance.

I got a little taste of ignorance's bliss when I posted pmags and bx-25's on ebay before they banned the sale of "hi-caps" or mags over 10 rounds. Was it my fault a bunch of dummies kept bidding higher and higher till my highest bid for a pmag was $75 and the highest for a bx-25 was $125!!! Can you believe it, OPEN AUCTIONS and these guys bid $125 for a 10/22 magazine.

A slimy two-bit used car salesman once said "There's an ass for every seat"

God Bless Capitalism and the idiots with more money than sense. Thank you baby Jesus.

Wow, so poetic it made me wanna cry :(. So canceling active and pending orders from existing customers in an effort to get top market value isn't gouging??? Go back to your moms basement and brag on your nerd forum about how much you sold your Pogs for. This forum is for people looking for decent deals from reputable sellers.

To answer your question... No. It's called capitalism in a free market. You should check it out. I can provide some links if you like. Moral compasses and successful businesses don't go hand in hand. Just ask Wallmart or any bank or any other major corporation. Why would big oil sell gas at $1 a gallon when we've proven we'll pay $4.00? Why would you steal out of your own pocket? Why would you sell something for half as much as someone was willing to pay for it? THAT'S CHARITY. Are you Mother Teresa? Are you saying you wouldn't retract a non contractual bid if someone offered you double for your house? If so you're either full of shit or a fucking idiot. Either way, it's probably why you're on the wrong side of the dollar and why you have to bitch and whine about "gougers".

Consumers control the market Sport. Get used to it. CTD didn't set their prices high because people weren't paying them. They did so because people were buying and they're in the business to make profit, as much as possible. That's how it works in the American free market of Capitalism. Are you a socialist? "Gouging" is just a lame excuse for the real basement dwellers to whine and bitch about who can't afford to pay to play.

Speaking of basements, I'm guessing you're familiar with the lifestyle. Me not so much. Is that where you keep the trolley you use to lure the children in? That avatar makes you look like a fucking pedophile. Was Mr Rogers your makeshift Daddy?

As far as bragging goes, it wasn't bragging at all. I was stating the fact how I put items up for auction and let fools VOLUNTARILY bid 10/22 mags up to 5x their worth. It had nothing to do with me. It was all Supply and Demand.

Ain't it grand?

Out of every single person who comments on this site, I have to say that without a doubt, your comments are the most consitently ignorant, stupid, and annoying. "Heroes of capitalism"? Really? You are an idiot.

Nope, once you made a commitment for an item at an agreed price, you're, to honor it or you're not trustworthy. Brownells sent me my 10-pack of window PMAGs for $150 shipped ( months later but before the enx of the crisis). I continue buying from them because they're DEPENDABLE & TRUSTWORTHY.
