So I ordered the Federal 1,625 rounds 22LR Cabelas had for the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale. I ordered Thursday. They continued to advertise the special all day the next day. Several days later, they cancel my order. I call, and they say that they oversold them and that their website inventory is not "real time" WTF? Then, they have the individual packs of 325 rds available, but won't make good by giving me these at the price I ordered them for. I buy a lot of ammo and a fair amount of guns, and I am officially done with these overpriced bastards.
I’ve never had an issue with cabelas. I have a good history with them, and anytime I’ve had an issue I tell them to look at my order history’s. They’ve made good on a lot of deals for me.
I have something ordered online from Cabela's sitting on backorder at the sale price while the website shows it's now back in stock at the regular price. Apparently they only sold out of the sale ones, not the regular priced ones. ;-)
RESEARCH- Go online read about the cold/heat weather comments with EoTech. I am not saying anything bad about them just research. Happy Shopping -

The 512.A65 is still on backorder. The XPS2-0 is the sale item today at $399.00 with a $75 rebate to make it $324.
The requirement for the rebate states that the rebate must be received by 12-15. Not worth the risk with the it being on backorder.

FWIW, it was in stock when I posted.
FWIW, I ordered one of these online with in-store pickup (while it was still in stock) on 11/18 and I did get it.
Unfortunately, the person who filled the order at the warehouse put the Cabela's internal tracking barcode sticker (that they stick on every item that goes in the box for online orders) right on top of the EOtech UPC and serial number sticker on the side of the case that you need to photocopy for the rebate. I was able to carefully remove it without damaging the EOtech UPC and serial number sticker by applying some heat, but that sort of stuff shouldn't happen. The Cabela's internal tracking barcode sticker could have just as easily damaged the EOtech sticker and made me unable to claim the rebate.
