Works well. Can spot a cow well enough to ID it as a cow at several hundred yards. Can ID a rabbit at about 50. Image is sharp, response is quick, no play between moving the optic and the image moving. Has picture in picture, which is a thing you'll only find on pulsars. Has held zero through a handful of trips. Definitely the best buy in thermals right now. Only thing it's lacking is an ability to record.

Just got one of these off of optics planet on sale+coupon for just 1697 to my door and I thought that was a pretty good price. Really enjoying it so far. At 50 yards on an overcast day I could see the color differences on a black and white target well enough to sight it in, it was that sensitive to temp variation caused by thermal energy absorption differences between the colors.
