Internet reviews saying it’s reliable but not especially accurate. I’d rather get the SS version for a few bucks more. Good looking gun.
Actually, there are not a lot of options for a 1911 under $400. The Tisas is a quality gun line (check out hickok45's youtube review of a Tisas if in doubt). Pretty much the only other choices in this 1911 price range are the Phillipine made options (some of which are quite good).
Tax amount will depend on your state and how they collect tax. Ask your local FFL holder (pawn shop, gun shop, etc)
When in doubt move on no need to spend near $400.00 for a maybe firearm there’s a lot of quality out there for that price.
And you must be an expert to tell how good steel is from a photoshop picture. ....that's like saying what karat gold is from a picture...
So all the reviews are from people who have never owned or shot pine of these?
These are built to
NATO specs these are built by the same company that made your MP5 very quality... Zenith quit importing them to focus on their roller delayed blowback
These guns have TERRIBLE reviews. Zenith quit importing them because they are complete junk. Zenith has some great offerings; I have a MKE MP5K from them that is top notch, but they had to cut bait from these guys because it was nothing but junk.
Really? A simple google search reveals far more favorable reviews than non favorable. They stopped importing them most likely due to the current political situation in Turkey, not because they suddenly became junk. If you need an example of a review, check out the Hickok45 youtube video on the Tisas 1911. Well built gun.
I've not seen one of these in person, but I highly doubt they are equivalent quality to a Rock Island or any Armscor/ATI for that matter. Looking at the pictures of the example above shows a pretty lacking attention to finish of the pistol, and the barrel steel does not look to be from very good stock.
It's a 1911. Of course it's not reliable.
