How are these? Do they funtion well?

Just received mine. The take down pin is difficult to put back in and isn't as finely finished as my other Colt 1911 from 2011. This one is definitely tighter fit than my other Colt. The extractor looks like it may be out of adjustment. I'll compare to my other Colt when I can look at them side by side.

The extractor was fine. I was fretting over nothing. This pistol works great and looks very nice. The take down pin is still really hard to put back in though.

Is it just the two tone that makes it a custom shop?

I wanted a WC Government but this has my attention for less coin... trying to figure out which would be better from a collectable standpoint?

If you can swing it, the WC. I love that pistol. Always wanted that to be my first Colt. I believe his original slogan was "Everything you need, nothing you don't".

Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo, I have posted for months an Ad of your website in my Facebook account and a group I created in there, plus I’m a repeat customer of yours, do I get any discount points for that?

Here’s how I entered it on google CLT01070CSS-TT Colt. Click on Colt website should be the first sight after entry and it shows the model some in 9mm and some in .45 cal. Now the exact model above does not show on the sight but others with slight variations do.

If you enter CLT01070CCS-TT the gun comes up on the Colt website. Also it’s not SI but SS.

It's O1070CCS-TT.

O1070 (model number for the series 70 Stainless Steel Competition family pistols)

CCS (colt custom shop)

TT (two tone)

Like my first post says, that's the Delta Elite TT in 10mm.

That is not this pistol.

Who or what is "SI"? Is this made by colt? This is tempting but I know colt has granted licencing and teamed up with some sub par manufacturers in the past. Just curious..

Dude I'm with you, this IS tempting but I searched the MPN on Colts site and it comes up as the Delta Elite TT in 10mm. Looks nearly identical except with G10 grips and the obvious caliber difference.

I looked under all Colt's sub categories and couldn't find anything on this pistol.

"SI" could be a typo meant for SS as in stainless steel but I'm not sure. All I know is this thing looks sexy as hell and would look very, VERY nice next to my Springfield and Kimber.

But, the $799 for a "limited edition Colt" is sketchy at best. I wish the seller would chime in.

Umm pretty sure there is no transition, just a bad pic. All of the frame is brushed.

Here is a better pic:

Sweet looking Colt. 70 series too. Fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear, National Match barrel. Nice.

Add the scratches on the other side because rocks are always the best thing to place a gun on.

Nice gun but I wish there were more pictures of this one. That transition from heavily brushed grip to the shinier section in front of the slide release has me hesitating. It could look good - probably does - but it could look like crap. Too hard to tell from one photo.
