Considering this comes with a pinned gas block, this is a pretty decent deal.
I pin my own gas blocks, but for somebody who wants that level of bomb-proofing, with no hassle, this is the way to go.

The barrel is QPQ, which means it's really, really hard to drill through. You'll want a carbide drill bit. Those cost $$$.

You need to own a drill press that will drill at 200ish RPMs, otherwise you'll burn up your bit.
OR
Buy a pinning jig, vise, and taper pin from BRD engineering, which will set you back 80 or 90 bucks. (Plus price of carbide drill bit).

Any way you slice it, think of this as buying a barrel for 100 bucks, and paying somebody to pin your gas block.
