Description

The Springfield Armory XD MOD2 is chambered in 9mm, and most noticeably has an improved grip over previous versions. Suppressor height sights and a 4" 1/2x28 threaded barrel allows for suppressed use without additional barrels or sight replacement. The service model XD MOD2 9mm ships with two 16 round magazines.

The "GRIP ZONE" on the grip ruins the whole weapon!

Does the SPRINGFIELD ARMORY and MADE IN CROATIA bother you as well? You will really have a hard time finding a weapon without something stamped on the sides.

I agree on the billboard but a set of Talon Grips solves that problem easily. I have the Mod.2 4" non threaded...along with other XD's, XD(M)'s. For me, the XD(M) grip feels better. Still this is one of the few configs that come in FDE

Its tacky, but I couldn't care less about 8 letters on the grip that have no impact on performance. These things are outstanding. Sold mine to buy a g23 and often miss it. I will likely pick up another at this price.

Yes it's a decent price. I like that it's suppressor ready. But I bet you wouldn't buy one if it had rainbow grips on it would you?

You are assuming I am entirely discarding aesthetics, not to mention it doesn't have rainbow grips so that's a moot point. To compare two words to an entire color scheme is disingenuous at best. I would definitely prefer it not to say grip zone, but it certainly didn't "ruin the gun" for me or anyone else who shot it. To be entirely honest I'm surprised they are still putting "GRIP ZONE" on the grips since nobody actually likes it.
